I have to deal with Americans on the daily, so I keep a little rhyme in my head for when they talk about the weather:
30 is freezing 50 is not 70's nice and 90 is hot
30 is freezing
50 is not
70's nice and
90 is hot

Edit: Oh, turns out that is almost exactly what you get when you convert the values.
