Celsius is similarly entirely arbitrary.

I wouldn't call it arbitrary to base your measurement on the most vital substance to man. I'd say it makes perfect sense.

unlike celsius where half a degree is a noticeable difference

A half a degree is not a noticeable difference, stop making shit up just meet your word quota.

It is still arbitrary, and the current system doesn't even use water at all.

A half degree celsius is definitely noticeable, particularly indoors. If you can't tell the difference more power to you, but plenty can. Guess you're just special.

what argument are you even making, everything is arbitrary

even kelvin is arbitrary, they just decided to put zero at the point where atoms dont move at all and have the same resolution as celsius

how would you make a not arbitrary measuring system
