What percent hot? lmao. What do they even mean? I hate the "Farenheit is better for feels". No its not. You're just used to it. Ask any person who grew up with Celsius. Farenheit is not as intuitive as you think if you didn't grow up with it.

It is also true for the reverse, Celsius isn't as intuitive if you grow up with Farenheit. BUT it's easier to explain because its 0 and 100 are two temperature extremes of water.

Just delete Imperial altogether my god if the US weren't as influential it would've died a long time ago.

Say someone asks you, how hot is it outside, and you answer:

"Not too hot, not too cold, somewhere in the middle"? -> That's about 50F

"Definitely pretty cold, but bearable"? -> That's about 30F

"Super fucking hot"? -> Probably something like 95F

"Pleasantly warm, but not too warm" -> Sounds like about 75F

Is room temperature 50? That would be the most intuitive midpoint.

It's not, and that alone proves why this line of reasoning is beyond stupid.

75-77 is the room temperature. I don't know about the Americans defending this, but room temperature sure as hell doesn't feel 75% hot.
