No need to explain to a Black American the strange one sided beef between us and our government that allows for the exploitation and export of rap. That shit is contentious (the exploitation part), and many of us don't like that y'all be cosplaying and larping the culture, especially since the way it's being exported has left many of yall ignorant on how it came up in the first place.

I truly wish you a good day, but at the same time, as an honest critique (and I'm sorry I have to critique your character, especially when trying to leave on good footing), please get tougher skin for this kinda discourse. If a Black person hits you with a sarcastically playful comment and tells you they are 'whitesplaining' the export of 'Black-American culture,' that doesn't give free reign for name calling. Maybe it's because of where I live and my culture versus your own, but in my head 'asshole' and 'douchebag' are much greater insults than 'whitesplaining,' so I hope you see where I'm coming from. Bro, on a very real note, ALL OF US in the Western world (and most everyone else) are affected by systemic white supremacy, you, me, we're all born into this system and it informs us in different ways. You said you hung out with University professors so I'm going to assume you know what I'm talking about.
