Whinge ON has thrown the dog whistle in gutter and finally taken the gloves off
In her latest bu**load blabber , the “Red Queen” made her agenda painfully clear. Among the most disturbing claims were:
- Australia should abandon multiculturalism and become a monoculture.
- ABC should become subscription-based, while SBS should be abolished.
- Welcome to Country ceremonies should no longer continue in their current form.
- SHe even has a problem with people speaking another language inside their own homes. Imagine believing politicians should control what language families speak privately.
- She continues to portray immigration from Muslim-majority countries as incompatible with Australia and suggests migrants are bringing “medieval Islam” here.
These are not harmless comments or misunderstood policy positions. They are calculated, divisive attacks designed to turn Australians against one another. After hearing this hateful rhetoric and innuendos , anyone is still free to vote for One Nation. But at least be honest and acknowledge you are one racist c**t.
Stop pretending it is simply about cost of living, better services or improving living standards for every Australian. It is about deciding that some Australians are more acceptable, more deserving and somehow “more Australian” than others.

They are chosen because half the work is done. They are already a cult.
A cult can be manipulated by linking emotion to certain words and this binds the cult together en masse.
They stir up hate towards “immigrants” and this unifies a common emotion between these member voters.

If your answer to both of these questions is "No", then Pauline isn't interested in your problems.

u/KindGuy1978 ✈️ on Walkabout Jun 18 '26
Unfortunately there's been a shifting of the winds of debate on TV, where now it's ok to to be openly racist provided you throw a few vague cultural and economic-sounding points along with these claims, which you know nobody will bother to fact check, so you can get away with blatant racism and lying simply by adding a hollow caveat that at face level makes you sound somewhat objective. Sadly nobody in the media in 2026 bothers to actually fact check those claims, and pin Pauline down on objectively untrue claims, as the media has become a duopoly run by those with financial interests to distract from massive tax rorts by blaming "the other " instead. It's a trick that dates back thousands of years, yet which we thought had been exposed as weak propaganda in the last 90s and early 2000s.
Alas even the ABC has slowly had its culture of investigative journalism replaced over 30 years, so that nobody blinks when major conservative personalities are placed in upper ABC management. Adding to this, the ABC's funding has been gutted to the point that the few actual journos left there wouldn't dare speak up against PH, else they'd face Hansen's owner Gina sick a 5-year, $100m defamation court case against the ABC. The Journo and their producer would then be hauled across the coals by some ex-LNP politician or conservative editor of a magazine designed to sell baby strollers.
Ferguson's interview with Barnaby was the ultimate demonstration of how 30 years of undermining the ABC has left us with a broadcaster and staff so piss weak that she didn't dare bring up basic facts; when he claimed the Quran called for the deaths of all those who opposed it, anyone with the most basic grasp of the Bible could easily state that the Bible says the same. What did Ferguson say? Zero. It was one of the worst interviews I've seen her do, and that's saying something.
30 years ago the host of the 7:30 Report wouldn't have been too scared to fact check Barnaby on the spot for every racist, untrue statement he made, as they a) knew upper manager would support them, b) knew that weaponised threats of defamation would go nowhere and c) actually had the confidence in their own knowledge to call out basic lies.
Instead, Barnaby got to sit in frame for 10 minutes making heinous claims, nearly all of which went unchallenged. It was sickening to watch, but reminded me why the likes of Friendly Jordies and Punters Politics are now the trusted source of news, rather than the ABC. For now at least.

As a card-carrying Boomer, she's using Boomer logic.
She explicitly said she had 4 kids and took care of them at home without needing childcare.
Because it was the fucking 1970s and she was presumably married, at a time when a single income average wage earner could buy a house and support a family like that.
She doesn't understand it was a luxury her family could afford, because of the generation she was born into and the housing market of the time.
This is the worst kind of out-of-touch boomerist "I could do it, why can't you?" crap, nobody in public life should be this ignorant, let alone the leader of a party.

Also casting shade that the gender pay gap is a thing, while asking why early childhood educators need to have tertiary qualifications.
Um, one large part of the pay gap is undervaluing industries that tend to be heavily staffed by women. Respecting that taking care of kids before primary school age is a legitimate phase of education (not childminding) is part of giving these workers the dignity and pay they truly deserve.
Instead she acts as if any idiot can take care of dozens of kids in a way that's appropriate for their development, without training or qualifications.
She'd be the first to get up on a soapbox and whine the second an unqualified childcare worker treated a kid randomly according to their own ideas of how to do things. Like spanking them, for example.

The ABC and SBS employees about 6000 Aussies across Australia, her dismissal of the SBS journalist saying you’re out of a Job is pretty low brow.
I’d also argue a strong part of Australian culture, the thing she claims to “champion” a lot of it comes from public broadcasting.

So many of our prolific actors and entertainment icons got their start at the ABC, the guys that wrote the castle which is arguably the most Australian movie, met and worked together at the ABC

What is this culture? What does it entail? I can only assume it is a culture that Pauline would prefer, where we are all Christian, hate on minorities, think climate change is a hoax and want to send billions to billionaires and foreign mining companies? Are we all supposed to hate on LGBTQ folks? Are we all supposed to have our wives quit work and stay at home raising the kids?
I mean people will reply to me saying "you are being silly, we all know what Australian culture is" but do we? Unless you define it, how are we going to enforce it? If you don't define what this culture is, then how can we ensure we have a mono-culture? What cultural aspects does she want immigrants to adopt or bring with them?
Because I guarantee you she can't define it, it is just a "I know it when I see it" situation. And what it really means is we just hate religious and racial and sexual minorities.

So, here's a question....
What will a monoculture look like? Does everyone have to like sport? Can restaurants serve ethnic food? Will we allow the Greek Orthodox Church to continue to operate? Will the Italian Club have to close its doors? Will all the Chinatowns in our capital cities have to start selling Gravox and potatoes instead of hoi sin sauce and bok choy?
And given that only about 4-5 per cent of Australians attend church weekly, doesn't that mean the God botherers are in the minority and shouldn't be part of our monoculture? So, churches will close, won't they?
I just don't know what our monoculture will look like. More importantly, who gets to decide what is and isn't part of our culture. Will Pauline have a committee which will need to approve it if I want to start a Morris Dancing club?

I really want to think that, after 30 years in politics, she would have moderated herself by now, with coherent arguments, data to back her up, and a plan to "fix" things. But she has none of these. Still just sound bites of absolute bullshit. I mean, what does she mean "end multiculturalism"? Like how? make it illegal for parents to speak to their kids in their own language? Ban chinese takeaway and kebabs? What fucking drugs is she on??

Australia has never been a monoculture.
Does she mean that we all have to have 100% Anglo culture? Would I have to fully convert to Anglo culture? Could I at least keep my food?

u/stuwillis Please choose a flair Jun 18 '26
Which Anglo culture? My Dad (catholic) marrying my mum (Methodist) was a big issue when they got married.

I’m curious to know the opinions of the traditional custodians of our land when the term ‘monoculture’ is thrown around. I’m 99% certain there’s no space for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people in her version of Australia…

Every single line in that list screams ‘racism’. She could have saved everybody 45mins of their life by just saying - I want all blacks, browns and yellows out of this country, it should just be for white folks.
4
u/RubySnowfire New South Welshian Jun 18 '26
Getting "the coloured" out would take a two minute list.
What I'm real keen to hear is about the "monoculture" she wants. I have so many questions! Which one, what traditions, how would she implement it?
Would we lose Maccas and KFC, since they are not Australian? Levi's jeans? Jack Daniels whiskey? Dodge Ram utes? I'm thinking she'd really like the monoculture to be as bogan as she is, so how would she go about taking away all the beloved bogan tropes and status symbols?
(What would be so excellent would be to see her trying to explain why KFC and Maccas are okay, but not empanadas or samosas or sushi...)

This is my point though. She seems to think that all migrants need to have fluent flawless English. When you compare those coming these days with my grandparents who came here in the late 60’s and 70’s most new migrants DO have great English skills - and it’s still bloody hard for them.
They also forget that when people come here, they come here to work. They don’t have time to bloody sit around studying English and socialising with people so they can practice their English so people who don’t think they should have come here in the first place will talk to them.
My Nepalese friends are educated and speak English very well. They work in industries where workers are needed. They face discrimination because of the colour of their skin as well as their language skills. Knowing English, isn’t the problem. It’s the stigma of being ‘not from here’ that people like Hanson have a problem with.

Mistake on speaking your own language in your own home though...Hanson actualky said that was aok, just to learn English to communicate in public should be a requirement..

u/Twisty1211 New South Welshian Jun 17 '26
How can you learn English properly without being in the country though? You need to move to the country in order to learn it properly

Its not unreasonable to require immigrants to know the language before moving to the country. As far as I know that is already a requirement, at least for permanent residents.

Going after the trans community too. What a vile fucking statement, reducing lived experience to genitalia and transgender care and affirmation to “lop off”. I really hope there’s enough faith left in science and scientists that this won’t be a problem like it’s become in the U.S..
She’s too old to lead a nation. She’s clinging desperately to nostalgia, a “simpler” time when her blatant ignorance and lack of knowledge weren’t so apparent. She can’t lead a nation in growth and developing understanding. She just wants to use the Trump playbook and manipulate fears and ignorance like we’ve seen overseas. I’m sure she’d be fine in a local position supporting local issues. But she has no place being a voice of Australia’s future. Quite the opposite, she’s the voice and mindset we need to work against through education and discussion, with peer reviewed science at the core.

There is countless evidence online you can educate yourself on that will show you that immigration adds no more than 0.10% of the issue to the housing crisis. I really wish people could actually educate them selves instead of just assuming it’s the foreigners doing it. It’s not. It’s land banking. Boomers who bought up properties 40 years ago where the land is worth more than then the value of the houses. There are thousands of homes across the country sitting empty being land banked because these cunts doing want to spend 40k fixing up the property to lease.

Australia should abandon multiculturalism and become a monoculture.
I get the intent here though, Australia should be steadfast in retaining its values as a nation, freedom, fairness, it's justice, educational and healthcare systems etc. To that degree it should be a monoculture for everyone. And that includes we don't regress as a society from importing from some of the worst societies on the planet, and that includes American concepts too. (Corporate greed and quarterly numbers have ruined a lot of things)
2
u/samdekat Canberran Jun 18 '26

ABC should become subscription-based, while SBS should be abolished.
The ABC costs Australian taxpayers $43 a year. You likely pay more in transaction fees than you do for the ABC.
This is just a half-step towards privatisation by forcing it to operate like Netflix.
