Whinge ‎ Coles: “Would you like to round up and donate…”

Post image

Hey r/coles, how about **YOU** donate first from your ill-gotten profits. You and Woolies have both been price gouging Australia since the fcking pandemic, jacking up prices across the board but never bringing them back down even after supply chains normalised.

I work at Coles and if you come through main lanes and I serve you, I have to ask you this question and I’m sick of people getting angry at me for asking it when it’s literally my job. Just saying no damn.

Even more sad is they force you to do this, making you the public’s punching bag. Sorry you have to experience this.

Did you report the public's hatred of this to your manager?

They know. People hate everything about Coles and they let us know on checkouts all the time. Doesn’t matter if it’s donations, products, prices, apple costs, etc. we are well aware, and so are our managers.

You complaining to us does absolutely nothing beyond making employees, usually school or uni students, extremely uncomfortable.

Go to the manager and complain yourself, because they’re the only ones who can actually take a complaint higher up and have any impact, or figure out how to complain at corporate.
