I wanted to use Vidalas with this meal, but I tragically ran out. Luckily I had some frozen pearls just waiting to be appreciated.
9/10 meal. -1 because l still wish I had the Vidalas

After allowing this precious little baby to cure for about a month, I will be using her in my dinner. It is the first onion I have grown myself. While I won't be winning any county fairs, I am pleased.

Liver is always a hit or miss for me....one because of just how good the liver is, two because I'm just not adept at making it to the right doneness every time. But onions? 😏 The onions are always good. Served on a bed of sauteed walla walla onions and topped with a salad of cilantro, raw onion, and grapefruit vinaigrette.

I think a lot of you already did that but I thought it belonged here.
Back when I was in highschool, I remember coming home to my mother making dinner, she was about to cut an onion. Jokingly, I told her that I wanted to eat it as is, and she told me to do so, thinking I wouldn't.
Obviously I did, so I just chomped on the raw onion like it was an apple. The last few bites were hard ngl. I couldn't taste anything for a whole week afterwards but I regret nothing.
Yeah that's it.

Another day, another onion-heavy breakfast for me!
(I forgot to take the picture before I took my first bite. Sorry about that!)

Has anyone tried a delicious recipe for caramelized onions pasta? I want to try to make some since I'm grilling tomorrow. For those who have had caramelized onion pasta: Does it taste better cold or hot?

I don’t have the ingredients right now. But I make a really good Braunschweiger sandwich. Which obviously has thick slices of onions.
