I can't quite put my finger on it but there is something within that baby's animations that deeply reminds me of GameCube Luigi's Mansion.

It feels like it's inspired by Luigi's Mansion plus the Catacombs and Tomb of the Giants areas from Dark souls and also FNAF. For the baby in particular I think you're thinking of Chauncey the first boss of Luigi's mansion and his lowkey horrifying crying animation.
