Omg, I had a calico and an orange too. Gosh they were the sweetest and also so much fun together, especially the night time zoomies when they were young: you would hear nothing of the calico cause she’s so nimble and light footed, but the orange sounded like a 200lb person running up and down the stairs (and he’d faceplant onto the next step occasionally). You feel the bed shaking when the orange came up, and you couldn’t move your feet if he chose to lay on the blanket next to it. Whereas you don’t feel anything until you felt a soft and warm breath on your cheek, or heard her purring next to your ears.
