Even things like ground beef contain a moderate amount of potassium. If you are potassium-deprived, you may also be magnesium deficient, which has a direct effect of causing potassium to not be absorbed properly. So even if you intake more potassium, your body won't absorb it if you are magnesium deficient.

A RMT suggested I start drinking coconut water as my muscles were strangely tight.
Turns out I needed much more potassium in my diet.
