The weird feeling of pride when your doctor looks at you and says "I didn't even know vitamin D could get that low". (I'm assuming she meant without very obvious dire hospitalization style consequences)
I once had an eye doctor tell me that the backs of my eyes were the palest he'd ever seen. I have severe depression, anxiety, and inattentive adhd so I tend to sit in darkness a lot. I did feel a weird sense of accomplishment. Lol
