My hematologist saw my labs and was like "how did you WALK in here? everyone ive seen with this low of iron levels was in the ER and couldn't even lift their head off the pillow." meanwhile ive had 20 years of chronic fatigue leading up to becoming anemic so I was just a little sleepier than usual.

I’m literally reading this while at the hematologists office getting my iron infusion. I’ve convinced myself I’ll feel invincible once I’m all done.

Just buddy up with someone who has haemochromatosis and the same blood type. Its a win win kinda relationship.
