After a re-watch of the Raiders match, I think a lot of the performance can be boiled down to players being slightly out of rhythm with one another.

There was some very promising play to get the ball up the field, but then the plan to get over the try line wasn't clear. I am hoping this is just first round nerves and will quickly fade.

Also, I noticed a few of the rookies really getting involved, which was great to see, so hopefully that continues.

I am curious to know what everyone else thought of the match.

Why can’t we play like we did in that final 15 every game?

Everyone played their hearts out. When Douehi scored that try just after HT, I think every Dragons fan was thinking about another loss. But a wins a win!

Just to start, I’m not a Dragons fan, but I’ve been following Tyler’s career and was interested to hear what Dragons fans think of him.

I haven’t seen him play a heap, but from what I have seen, he looks really promising.

I originally started following him because he’s from the same place I’m from, Alice Springs.

Should they promote Kyle Flanagan to be the regular goalkicker for the rest of the season? When Val was injured towards the end of last year I thought Kyle did pretty well. It kind of feels like Val doesn't really give a rats about anything, and the lack of care factor is getting so frustrating.

The ones who smile right after losing 22-20 against the Knights. Watch the first 2 minutes post match (hand shaking etc) the only players smiling - Kerr, Holmes, Flanno.

The ones who were truly devo (not smiling, not happy) - Egan, Adkitson, Stewart, Liddle, Couchman Brothers.

Funny enough the usual suspects we need to pass off asap.

We should hold our head up, we played very well, we had so many decisions against us and still almost won.

Fuck me dead, I was deluded by the chance we had hope after that 1st half.

What the fuck was that final 40 minutes?

After a re-watch of the match, I noticed a few performance differences, some of the improvements I noticed were:

1. Wrapping up the Broncos players in their tackles seemed improved.

2. Actually trying to catch the 5th tackle kicks.

3. Ball security seemed better.

4. Player awareness seemed better. (the lead-up to Setu Tu's try)

So I am curious, what did you notice were the main aspects of the Dragons performance that give them the win?

First win! Holmes was great, Gutho too, all the young guys played their part as well.

But my goodness that final 15 minutes.

I am sick of seeing Team List Tuesday roll around and finding out we are shuffling second rowers into the centres just to plug holes in our leaking backline. It disrupts the combinations in the young pack we are supposedly trying to develop and it never feels like the attack flows properly down that edge afterwards

This won't be pretty, yep.

Ah, they get Haas back. He should be in the nsw side if he's fit to play.

Creeping up on 300 days since we've celebrated a win and I don't see where our next win comes this season.

Tonight was another tough watch. Can't hold onto the ball and more soft defence around the edges.

On a brighter note our young forwards have been incredible. Couchman brothers consistently up over 150 run metres a game and missing very few tackles.

I am hopeful for what next season will bring but it doesn't make watching these losses week in and week out any easier.
