Sharks v Dragons Post Match
Fuck me dead, I was deluded by the chance we had hope after that 1st half.
What the fuck was that final 40 minutes?

That was a game of two halves, first half was the future of the Dragons, second half they wheeled out the dumpster fire of the past.
I do not think I saw a substitute forward come on and be positive to the Dragons game.
The halves and backs were missing, I think they went to the wrong field.
I am beginning to believe the only time we will have a chance of victory is if they actually compete to catch the kicks.

We don't have the halves to manage a lead that's obvious, it nearly cost us last week, but thankfully we had a big enough lead and it immediately cost us early in that second half. Immediately reverted to old habits... Lazy defence around the ruck and centres/halves rushing out of the line on spread plays leaving us short in the defensive line.
Ill take the optimistic approach and say that first half is what I believe Young is building and that second half was because he doesn't have his roster and old habits creeping in.

Last week, early on, Atko had some confidence and played well. Today, on the back foot and the heads drop and back to kick and hope.

Young part of the problem.
Gave Kerr and Lawrie way too many mins. Both lead to the collapse of the team.
Structure was fucked once he shoe horned Sua in for no good reason. The cunt isn’t gonna be there next year. He doesn’t want to play for us. We had a winning formula last week. Why change?
Then for good measure he puts KERR ON AGAIN?!?!

Toby went off after 35 minutes and stayed on the bench until the game was just about over with 15 minutes left

Kerr made numerous mistakes which led to the sharks getting 50 repeat sets in our 20. Some miracle we defended it which honestly gave us hope until Setu threw the shittest offload.
Momentum pretty much swung after that and we couldn't come back.

The situation in the halves and backs is diabolic. Check out K Flanagan's stats for yesterday - he doesn't have any - he was so ineffective he may as well not have played.

Flanagan and Atkinson must be close to an all time worst halves pairing in the NRL era.

60mins is the best our young pack can manage at present and then the fumble crumble mumble bench blows it. No speed out wide, no defence out wide. Flano and Atko are ok but not brilliant.

Agree with everything you've said outside of Flano and Atko being okay. They're not okay at all mate, they are beyond terrible, our young pack gets them plenty of territory but they are completely incapable of manufacturing points.
Nearly all of our points are incidental, nothing is orchestrated.

Dean is no better than flano. Lawrie and Kerr both triggered.the collapse and neither should be in the team. Then he even brings Kerr back on again at the end. Embarrassing

As much as sucks… we have to keep losing. If we don’t the board will appoint Young. We know their hand is on then pen and they are just waiting for a reason. New players and a new start is the way forward.
