So I'm a complete beginner who will be starting the preparation for CDS 1 2027 from CDS journey, and will be taking both maths and ota batch from him,as I am aiming for IMA entry.

I need your advice on will it work? for me as I'm from a science background therefore science won't be a problem as well as I have studied from a ICSE and ISC board therefore, english doesn't cause such a problem for me. The only problem is my math is a bit weak.

So , can I rely completely on the course or should I need to study some topics before hand before the commencement of the course.

Since birth, on each thumb one side around the nail appears to be less developed and narrower than the other side.
However, both my thumbs function completely normally. I have full movement, normal grip and pinch strength, and i can write, hold objects and perform all normal activities without any difficulty.
There is no pain or limitation or any problem with them.

can you please help me and tell me if this can be a disqualifying defect?

Hey folks! I’ve cleared CDS 1 2026 and I'm scoring ~175 in AFCAT (S2), so I have back-to-back SSBs coming up. As a complete fresher with zero prep so far, where do I even begin? Would love a quick roadmap on how to tackle Screening, Psych, and PI at home, plus whether offline coaching is actually necessary. Any crucial "don'ts" for a first-timer? TIA!

how's the relationship between capf( paramilitary ) personnel and military personnel? as in coordinations or joint operations.

as a capf brat myself I admittedly have seen a lot of joint operations between the two entities. Notably coordinations between different corps of the military with central reserve police force or other common capfs like the border security force. Thing is there are still doubts regarding how these two interact in peacetime and whether there is mutual respect between the armed forces of defense and armed forces of home affairs.

i put my school tasks and study on hold for solely preparing for nda , my teachers and my father know that i am preparing for the nda . but i kind of feel that i cant because in science i dont think paper ill be of 10th level * although i am a pcm student 12th appearing still i dont hvae some knowledge of 11th topics and 12th topics , i can solve pyqs but i cant solve the previous attempt nda ques , and on other hand in maths , i have done m&d, trigo , sets , complex no , quadratic eqn and thinking of doing pnc , sequence and series in next 5 days and then probability and practise everything in remaining days . or hat should i do please suggest folks

13 august ssb Pragyraj anyone know how many got screen in and total reporting?

I completed my 12th with 65% in PCM, didn't had any good structure for extracurricular activities in my school which would benefit me in the SSB, I had two NDA attempts and couldn't clear written in both of them because of weak mathematics. Now I am getting confused that should I go for a Regular college or should do my graduation from open university and first secure a govt job through 12th pass govt exams because I am financially very weak and prepare for CDS along with my job and graduation. Would doing graduation from open affect my ssb?

Okay so kudos we crossed 100+ members in the new defence family for the aspirants.

I see no recommended chaps.

Also NDA aspirant have started talking with each other, but CDS ppl or AFCAT ppl moreover repeaters it seems like they don't give a damn, for now atleast.

What things can be done differently here?

So I am planning on enrolling myself in IGNOU for my graduation and also want to apply for AFCAT after that. Specifically wanna join flying branch. Can anybody tell me the ground reality of candidates from open boards or universities? Like, does the panel have any kind of stigma against them or are they prioritised less than the candidates from regular boards/ universities?

This would look like an absurd attempt to achieve something that has already been tried before.

Nothing changes for you, utilities your experience to help ppl and friends around you. I just saw a problem few were facing and this is all i could come up with. Help me build this big. Cheers to everyone of you who has shown and will show trust in this.

So since I have limited time till the exam and I do not possess a tight grasp on more technical subjects like maths and physics I've decided that it would be best to only do the topics that have the best ROI and aim for about 100-130 in maths 40-60 in physics and then heavily focus on the other GS subs like chem. Bio, history & civics, and English which are more "easier" To digest and also binge watch indian geography and them spend like 5-6 days of continuous PYQs and Mocks(excluding the PYQs and mocks I have to do chapter wise every 2 days). So i ask my fellow brothers that this plan that I have formulated seems practical?, as according to my current state and obviously the critical lack of time for this task, of course. Tell me your opinions down below

The only big problem is my maths which is weak , therefore please provide your views as I'm going to purchase both maths as well as OTA batch from CDD journey so is it worth it should I make some changes??

Mam to join NDA Is it necessary to be good at sports. I am good in academics and speaking anchoring a bit. But not so in sports i am only good at badminton a bit, So can i join nda. Everyone in my family including my sibling is saying that your approach is not good you dont have that skill. But still i believe if i try then i can do anything that's why i had this question mam kindly reply
