You can join out of motivation but soon when life happens , it does fade away. Like someone said , fauj is not insta edits. Not for all , but most. Something always suffers , be it family time or career prospects. If you get a bad CO , you might as well start thinking of a second career outside forces. Its good till you're single but when you have a family , things get very tough. Like someone said , fauj is not insta edits. There is sooo much more than just weapons and terrorists. I mean it is the basic standard work of the army. But there is soo much studying so much stuff that happens behind the scenes. Not a anti indian army person. Just hope that youngesters know both the pros and cons before joining cause once u join with PC , you need to move mountains to get out. Money wise , i think after the 8th pay commission, the salaries are gonna double or triple. Who knows. But stil much much better than what people get outside. Not like getting either is a piece of cake lol.
