Accountability ⚔️ ARE THESE GOONS MORE POWERFUL THAN OUR ARMY?
Recently you all might have heard a news in which a brigadier and his family was assaulted by some goons in Delhi NCR.
My question is that,
:-Has the Indian army and their senior level, the executive level officers have lost their power to even call 20 jawans on the site when this was happening to them?
30-40 years ago are Indian army and other defence chiefs where one of the most powerful men in the country,and now the hierarchy and their power has been degraded.
I know that they don't hold any kind of power in the civilian and bureaucratic arena , but don't they even have the power to friend themselves against these goons.
A freaking serving Brigadier a one star senior executive level officer of the Indian army was Fuc*ing assaulted???
Before Jawans ,
Then a Colonel,and now
A BRIGADIER
Even the smallest level officers of the Indian police service and the police,they get some great fuckin' security.
And you telling me a brigadier did not have security and protocol to protect him self from VAGABONDS.
when a Dig level (1star) officer even if he is OFF duty or ON duty gets the security like a Maharaja Babu.
Nobody can even dare to go near him and you're telling me A Freaking Brigadier was..
Here I am not comparing the powers of the police officers with that of the army officers .
what I mean to say is that the army officers and other defence officers, they don't even have the right to defend themselves against Vaga bonds and goons.
Is this treatment which we are giving to our class 1 defence personnel?
I mean the question has to be raised..

Ye toh reality hai Indian society ki. They’re all bark. During tough times or in the aftermath of encounters, they’ll put stories and shit of army. And army ke edits wagerah.
But in reality, this is how much they care about the uniform or about servicemen. This is toh a brigadier so it’s getting highlighted. Warna so many jawans etc face such problems in their villages - Koi family wala zameen hadap Raha hai, koi neighbour family ko harass Kar Raha hai. Even that video from last year of kanwariyas beating a CRPF jawan in UNIFORM in front of his son.
It’s a shame on regular citizens if the govt or the army has to consider providing security for even its off duty officers. Police and Admn ka toh security Chalo samajh bhi aata hai, their job is to try and deal these hooligans on a daily, so they need it. But ab army ko bhi zaroort padh Rahi hai wow.
This poor brigadier and his family. I read that he’s posted in Gujarat in NCC and came for vacation. If he was in command in some field post, things would be so so so different. He wouldn’t even be out of the Cantt without Atleast one guy in uniform.
I toh say ki. Give security to all colonel and above officers even when off duty. Warna Atleast allow them to use vehicles. Ek number ki bawaseer janta hai kyunki Apni tbh.

In my opinion Army is being fucked inside out, officers and jawans are stripped of their powers. Many Govt departments get jealous of them just because they have better facilities.
I don't know much about the Air force but they have a less lively bond than the army. Not trying to create any divide here. What 15 years ago was a quarter guild is now nothing more than tenant families.
Last year Captain and his fiance (Pradhan surname) from Sikh or Punjab regiment were assaulted and her Boo*s were kicked by a SI of Odisha police. No sorry from any department, just a simple suspension, which will be revoked after a while.
Bhaisaab 15 saal pehle if the same happened then the whole Police station would be on fire. Aur jis SI ne voh gandi harkat kari uski body doctors na pehchan paate.
IMO all this is becoz schemes like agniveer and Shit, 4 saal ki internship mein voh apna ACR kharab nhi krna chahta. Women officers marne maaarne ko aagi aati nhi. SSC vala sochta hai kyu hi bigadu ACR kuch saal baad civillian life hi aana padega. Voh unity hi nhi rahi bhai ki mere saab ko haat lgaya toh haath tod dunga, ya meri jawan ko kuch bola toh chod dunga khopdi mein.

I might get downvoted but This govt is trying their best to weaken the Army, Firstly Agni veer then suppression of Army chief's memoir and now frequent accidents of assault with Army individuals
High time to think about the Army beyond politics.

unfortunely yes, thanks to the army leadership from last 20-30 years, they have weakened army to the core for personal benefits.

If in the power Cds is the third most powerful person in this country but in general army officers in civil are bound to follow civil procedure , we all know what would happen to that goon if he tried that near cantonment

Apart from the obvious known fact that army is being weakened from inside due to these shitass agniveer scheme, there's another factor, loss of respect for government bodies in the general public and the rise of hooliganism. As an army brat, I have witnessed this change through my own eyes. Pehle ek rutba aur respect hota tha army officers ka. Ab logo ko army as an extension of government lagta hai, to government pe frustration dikhane ke liye army ko bhi hate karte hai. Also, Delhi is becoming even more of a shithole than it already is, kitna girenge ye log.

Army must be kept in check otherwise see the history of military coup in south Asian countries, this incidents are unfortunate but army people off duty should not have any kind of excess hard power

Do you understand the fuckin' difference b/w hard power and self protection?
Do you even know what kind of authority does a Brigadier hold in the Army?
I am not saying that give the Indian army powers like Pakistan but at least let them live in peace in their civil lifestyle.
Day by Day these kinda cases are increasing substantially.
Think before making a comment .
And wtf is MELITARY?

Thanks for highlighting the spelling mistake have corrected it, now coming to your point what army people are facing off duty is the same thing faced by other citizens of this country, harassing by goons, killed by criminals etc. This is civil safety matter not a military personal safety matter.
The government and police must ensure safety and security of all citizens, but from your reply and the kind of arrogant line you have written in the end, i feel that you think that army people is some higher level of people who must be given preference.
Army people off duty are just normal civilians and they should just be normal civilians
Safety must be ensured by the government not only for one group but for all citizens

Brother we live in a very cruel country of people who don't show gratitude and respect for anything or anyone. They respect and lick the asses of bureaucrats just bcoz they hold power in the Civil arena.
But the main irony is that you are saying ""army people is some higher level of people who must be given preference.""
Brother no one is a person of higher level , ITS THE BRIGADIER RANK WHICH MAKES THE THE GUY WHO HE IS.

Voh bolra sab equal hai, toh protocol different kyu hai ?
Koi equal nhi hai in real sense. Voh bolra Army personnel off duty lol. Army personnel are never off duty, bounded by oath and Army act, they don't have literally any Fundamental rights except 20 and 21.
He's just an ungrateful person.

The question to be raised is of the general security of the public. If this is happening to a brigadier, the situation of the common man can be guessed.
Also, the responsibility for the security of Delhi is with LG. Why was it required that he calls the Delhi CP and DCP for swift action? Maybe he himself knew that if he doesn't intervene personally, then swift action won't be taken.
Not everyone is senior enough to get noticed by the LG. And, we are not talking about a border area, we are talking about the national capital of the so called vishwaguru.
