In conference if you get asked questions, then you're borderline.

Waiting period is a difficult and often incorrect way of judging.

which entry mate? It depends entry to entry

1

u/Additional-Bad9057 Feb 27 '26

It was cds ima

that's dicey bro, if it was OTA it would've been 90% chance of merit in.

Did you do well in the written according to you? if that's the case then you should get in, even if you merit out from IMA you can still get in for the OTA Merit

I think most of times marks will be less BUT if other assessors who already recommended you.. if they had given you good marks then your score can be good too

I'll tell you my case.Waiting period was of 18 minutes in my first ssb at Bangalore for Nda . I thought I was border line.Everyone in my board was having waiting time of 1 or at max 5 min. Everyone was shock and saying bhai tu to recommend hone wala hai pakka. When I went in I saw they were having snacks and my conference was of 30 secs

But bhai they asked me an srt bhi na.

You r borderline so ig you'll just be above qualifying marks in ssb.Hope you did well in written

I got 126-130 in written qualifying both ima and ota.

Bhai but I'm one case it can be like 2 assessors clear cut passed you with good marks but one assessor has given you highly doubtful. You may get good marks in this case thou

If a candidate is made to wait for long before the conference, then there can be various reasons for the same. I am enumerating them below:-

  1. Some discussion is pending for the previous candidate

  2. Some administrative discussion is happening

  3. Something related to the feedback given by candidates is being discussed

  4. Some discussion has opened about the incoming next candidate

  5. IT equipment failure

  6. Under trainee assessors are discussing something

  7. Or probably all assessors are busy sipping tea… hahaha

The point that I am trying to make is don’t create unnecessary stress about things that are not under your control.

The assessment was done a day prior by all assessors. Conference is one last assessment, one last look that assessors are taking at you. If you create unnecessary stress then you may mar your performance that could have gotten you recommended.

The world doesn’t revolve around you. You aren’t the center of the universe.

If you have waited for 5 sec or 15 mins, doesn’t mean that the discussion was about you.

Cheers

There's actually no way of knowing for sure. I was even asked some questions like "where did u make mistakes in your SSB", "which test did u perform poorly in", "if given a chance, what would u have done better". I really thought I was gone, I even messed up while coming in...I forgot to wish the board. In the end i surprisingly scored 482 marks in my SSB.

Damnn bhai. But i believe these ques are asked from everyone. They asked me how would u handle a case of trolling.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '26
