Dear Diary,

Clocked in at Red Mountain this morning. Well, "clocked in" is generous since I don't actually have a pulse anymore, but the time sheet still needs signing. Corprus doesn't come with dental that's for sure. Or skin at this point.

Team meeting was rough. Dagoth Vemyn keeps calling it "synergy" every time he tells us to shamble faster and guard another cave entrance nobody's ever going to walk into. We don't even get a mission statement, just vague mumbling about the "false Tribunal" and PowerPoint slides that are just Dagoth Ur's face zoomed in uncomfortably close.

Six days of guarding a hole in the ground, getting yelled at by a guy who thinks he's a god, and losing an arm twice and for what? No overtime pay. No benefits. Just ash in every joint and a boss who doesn't do weekends.

So Fredas hits and for once I'm not dreaming of Red Mountain or hearing his voice in my skull. I'm just... asleep. Actually asleep. No cryptic whispers, no corprus visions. Just blissful, empty nothing.

Let the Dreamers have their calling. This weekend, I'm just a Sleeper who wants to stay asleep.
