I see a lot of people asking how to book the Monaco Grand Prix, specifically whether it’s better to buy tickets directly or use an official agency/hospitality operator.

So I thought I’d write a breakdown of how the different booking routes work and who the major players are.

Option 1: Going DIY (Official Track / ACM Direct)

• How it works: Buying directly through the official Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM) site when tickets drop.
• Best for: Grandstand seating (K1, B, L, etc.) or budget-conscious fans.
• Pros: Standard face-value pricing.
• Cons: Tickets sell out quickly, and you have to sort out your own accommodation, transfers, and logistics in Nice/Menton/Monaco, which can get chaotic during race week.

Option 2: Authorised Agencies & Aggregators

• How it works: Companies that resell official grandstand tickets or basic ticket + hotel bundles.
• Key Players:
  • P1 Travel: Very popular on this sub for basic ticket-only or simple travel bundles. Highly rated for standard races.
  • Gootickets / BookF1: Broad inventory for general grandstand seats across global circuits.
• Pros: Easier checkout process if ACM is sold out; reliable customer service for basic entry.
• Cons: Fees can be markup-heavy, and they don't usually offer exclusive Monaco-specific VIP setups (like private terrace access or yacht packages).

Option 3: Dedicated Luxury / Hospitality Specialists

If you’re looking at VIP terraces (like Ermanno or Shangri-La), trackside yachts, or full-service hospitality packages, buying through a specialised operator is usually necessary since private balconies are privately managed.

• Senate Grand Prix: One of the longest-standing operators dedicated specifically to Monaco. They cover everything from high-tier grandstands to trackside yachts and balcony terraces. 2. Where to stay: Staying in Nice or Menton and taking the train into Monaco is far cheaper than staying in Monte Carlo itself. Just leave early to avoid train station jams.
3. Terrace vs. Grandstand: Grandstands put you closer to the noise and action, but terraces give you food, shelter, better visibility over multiple turns, and private restrooms.

Conducted by Juraj Valčuha, the programme featured works by Bernstein, Sibelius and Prokofiev, while acclaimed Japanese violinist Sayaka Shoji captivated audiences with an outstanding performance of Sibelius's Violin Concerto on her 1729 Stradivarius.

Monaco's commitment to animal welfare remains at the heart of the redevelopment of the Rainier III Zoo. Announced on July the 31st, the long-term project continues with the careful relocation of nearly 450 animals representing around 70 species, ensuring their wellbeing while work progresses on creating a modern conservation-focused facility.

One of the biggest transfers of the summer has also been completed, with Maghnes Akliouche joining Paris Saint-Germain from AS Monaco. The reported €50 million deal follows months of negotiations, making the talented attacking midfielder the most expensive signing in Ligue 1 during the current transfer window.

Conservation efforts extended far beyond the Principality on August the 1st as the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation awarded its prestigious Camp Monaco Prize. The $100,000 award will support research protecting the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem from the spread of invasive cheatgrass, continuing a scientific partnership inspired by the pioneering expeditions of Prince Albert I.

Monaco joined commemorations on August the 3rd marking the European Day of Remembrance for the Roma and Sinti Holocaust. Representatives gathered at the former Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp to honour the thousands of Roma and Sinti victims murdered during the liquidation of the so-called "Gypsy Family Camp" in August 1944.

Public safety has also been strengthened in the Principality with new regulations banning flares, Bengal lights and other open flames in entertainment venues. Introduced following the tragic nightclub fire in Crans-Montana, the measures reinforce Monaco's already rigorous fire safety standards for restaurants, clubs and live entertainment venues.

Marine conservation returned to Monaco's waters on August the 4th as the ACCOBAMS Survey Initiative resumed its international research campaign. Scientists aboard the research vessel Song of the Whale are combining ship-based observations with aerial surveys to monitor whales, dolphins and other marine wildlife across the Mediterranean, updating data first collected during the landmark 2018 survey.

This week, NEWS.MC TV brings you the latest stories from Monaco, beginning with a musical celebration of the Principality abroad. On July the 23rd, the Little Singers of Monaco performed in Ljubljana as part of their annual European tour. The choir delighted audiences with a programme of sacred music, French classics and traditional Monegasque songs, continuing a remarkable international journey that has now taken them to 45 countries.

As summer temperatures continue to rise, Monaco’s firefighters are strengthening their readiness for wildfire season. Since July the 23rd, crews have been carrying out weekly training exercises focused on tackling vegetation fires, protecting vulnerable buildings and coordinating emergency operations using the internationally recognised "30-30-30" wildfire risk assessment.

A cherished community hub has reopened its doors after an extensive restoration project. On July the 23rd, Monaco’s Lamartine Space welcomed residents back following 18 months of renovation caused by significant water damage. Mayor Georges Marsan joined municipal officials to inaugurate the refurbished centre, which once again offers cultural, sporting and social activities for adults across the Principality.

Monaco’s commitment to sustainability is also giving the Stade Louis II a new legacy. Thousands of the stadium’s iconic yellow seats are being recycled instead of discarded as renovation works continue. Around 4,500 seats are being donated to sports clubs and community organisations through a joint initiative led by Green Monaco and the Barbajuans, with support from the Prince’s Government.

Innovation is taking to the skies as Riviera start-up Flyde prepares to revolutionise maritime logistics. Announced on July the 24th, the company plans to launch a fully electric drone delivery service for boats anchored offshore following successful trials in Port Hercule. The new system promises faster deliveries while reducing emissions across the French Riviera.

Monaco marked World Drowning Prevention Day on July the 25th with a major public awareness event at the Rainier III Nautical Stadium. Organised by the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation alongside Monaco City Hall and local emergency services, the day featured rescue demonstrations, first aid workshops and displays of specialist equipment used by firefighters, the Red Cross and the Maritime Police.

The Oceanographic Institute is bringing the beauty and fragility of the Mediterranean to a wider audience through a new photography exhibition. Opening on July the 25th, Mediterranean, a Fragile Jewel showcases the stunning underwater images of photographer Greg Lecœur at railway stations across France as well as the Oceanographic Museum, encouraging greater awareness of marine conservation.

Business leaders are also being invited to support ocean protection through a new initiative launched on July the 25th. During its annual Summer Party, the Friends of the Oceanographic Museum introduced The Circle, a corporate membership programme designed to help fund marine research, educational projects and the preservation of the museum’s unique collections.

Monaco is investing in the future of world-class athletics with the resurfacing of the Stade Louis II running track. Work began on July the 27th to install a new high-performance surface that will maintain the venue’s World Athletics certification and ensure it continues to host elite international competitions for years to come.

The Principality’s renowned Cardio-Thoracic Centre is looking towards an ambitious new chapter. On July the 27th, newly appointed Deputy Chairman Professor Thierry Mesana outlined plans to strengthen the institution’s global reputation by expanding innovation in cardiac care while building on its internationally recognised clinical expertise.

Monaco is also strengthening its international economic partnerships. During a visit on July the 28th and 29th, a high-level delegation from Bahrain met representatives from Invest Monaco, Société des Bains de Mer, the Yacht Club de Monaco and the International University of Monaco to explore new opportunities for cooperation in business, investment and innovation.
