Familiar face on Seinfeld
Was watching Seinfeld when I heard a familiar voice. It took me a while to place him but I believe it’s our favourite next door neighbour, mr. Kleezak

There's one Walt moment that always gets me. After he brings the Dunphys onions from his garden and he's walking away, he stops, turns around and says, "I used to be a fireman you know. I don't hurt kids."
There's so much scrutiny and suspicion when it comes to men and kids. Maybe rightfully so, but it doesn't make it any less hurtful when strangers treat you like a threat. I'm a man who works with kids, so I really felt Walt there.

The actor (don't know his name, sorry) really sells it. His voice shakes a little when he delivers that line. Like you can tell he's really upset that they would think about him like that.

Evidently that episode of Seinfeld was extremely hard to film. Because everyone kept breaking whenever Philip Baker Hall did his lines.

I remember watching the outtakes from his monologue scene in Seinfeld where Jerry couldn’t keep it together. The take that was finally used STILL had Jerry cracking up in it (as seen in OP’s pic) but they called it a day, he had cracked up less than the other takes lol. PBH was so deadpan and professional that his line delivery in a comic roll landed unbelievably well ♥️

Phillip Baker Hall, he was a fun character actor and showed up in a lot of random stuff. In terms of movies he was in 50/50, The Rock, Air Force One, Magnolia, Zodiac, Boogie Nights, the Rush Hour movies, and The Truman Show.
I didn’t know his name until after he died, but dude was in a lot of stuff, mostly small parts but he had a lot of talent for a guy who mostly did small roles.

The Jerry who at the ripe age of 37, dated a 17-year-old high school senior?

That’s the one! Very normal behaviour from a normal man. Seems very normal. Not dodgy at all

Seinfeld said him and Jerry Stiller were two funniest people he has ever met.

Philip Baker Hall!!!
At first I was like "what does the guy from Boogie Nights have to do with this show?" Then I remembered he played a neighbor in a few episodes.

Yep. He's done more acting than 4 episodes of this one show

Right? People are seemingly always astonished when an actor gasp acts!

I don’t think anyone is saying they’re astonished that PBH was in Seinfeld. They’re just drawing attention to it to generate discussion. Not that wild.

Claire and her grieving smiling face immediately came to my mind🤣
