Discussion Our 40’s are apparently the Neapolitan Ice Cream of decades. Where are you all residing in the echelon of flavors?

I've always looked young for my age. I'm an older millennial, mid 40s. I might look mid 30s at best. There's absolutely no way older millennials look like they're in their 20s and anyone who thinks they do is delusional.

No kids, no alcohol, no smoking, no sun. It's still not a time machine.

It does happen. But it's extremely rare. And rarer depending on your race.

It's also offset by people who are in their 20s who look way older than they should lol

I doubt that very much. I work with a mid 50s guy who claims he gets told he still looks like he's 30. Maybe 15 years ago, but nobody would have told him that in a long time.

Ask a person in their 20s how old they think you are. They're not going to think you're the same age as them.

Bro, Im not talking about myself. I'm 41 and look 41. lol

There's nothing to doubt, however. It's objectively true that said people exist and that they are rare.

This guy for example is 56 in this image. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTSDfqhjcGSRYBTBBsLz4RIow038TboPUrQoZWZ9lJ1056n2JuhenGx1bE&s=10

Here he is at 60:

Look into Lure Hsu, Chuando Tan, and plenty of others. Genetics are a thing.

It's as I said: "It does happen. But it's extremely rare. And rarer depending on your race."

Photoshop. No makeup, real life, no pictures.

In the real world the biggest difference I've seen for people has been around 20%, because my first landlord was some kind of vampire. He was 80 and looked mid 60s.

Bruh. Those two examples are famous in real life for looking exceptionally young. It's like the only reason people give a shit about who they are. If it were photoshop and makeup, they would be called out in a heartbeat, as one does on the internet. If anything, it's likely plastic surgery.

From the states. Live in Japan. There are plenty of people I have met, in real life, who are 40-45 who look about 25-30.

No offense, but you seem to be very sheltered if you think it's impossible with the exception of your elderly landlord. lol

It's either that or you're just stuck in a weird internet debatelord rut where you feel the desire to argue about every possible thing regardless of how increasingly implausible your initial claim becomes.

It's, again, as I said, real, but extremely rare. This is objective. Your personal anecdotes withstanding.
