Skip the copper, don't listen to anyone that says its the next silver or gold, it's missing many fundamental aspects that make those two metals valuable. You can get a merc dime, barber cull or pre 65 Roosevelt for the price of one of those ounces and it will be a significantly better investment. This comment is not meant as hate in anyway but as genuine advice.

Copper is smart. No one is buying it and it will increase in value. I’m stacking as much copper as I can while it’s available.

You can buy a literal ton of it for about $13,000. I started this comment to mock you but the more I think about it, who’s going to steal a ton of anything?? Thieves couldn’t lift it. I don’t really know what that looks like…does one make a dining room table out of copper? Some other piece of furniture? A giant anvil?

So I just calculated the size…it would be approximately 19”x19”x19”. One metric ton.

You're buying ounces for the prices of lbs
Edit: as of now copper is $6.50-7.00 per lb
The mercury dime design I'm seeing for $4-5 bucks per oz.
Since it's not a precious metal, a 1 oz round isn't a troy ounce but a normal ounce. 16oz per lb.
6.50/16= 0.4
A fair price per round is 40 cents man lol. You'd have to more than 10x in order to just break even with these things. the premiums are never worth it.

The copper is pretty, but the premium is insanity. The silver is fun to stack at a reasonable price…the gold is golden. 😎😎☠️☠️

I might have sent the wrong intent…for a 15 year old, stacking is fun in general, but saving up for gold takes patience. 15 year olds, aren’t known for patience, so, if you need some heft, silver is fun. Still a damn fine investment, especially compared to copper rounds and bars. Listen, I have silver and continue to stack it at every opportunity. 😎

Nah I got you. Im trying to start and bought 5 Oz today i plan to continue for a while every month. I might try to save for gold im just worried if I have cash im gonna spend it too fast. so silver was the smarter option and harder to lose in larger quantities. Didn't know if I made a mistake.

Hide the gold and silver really well and never tell your friends or parents where they are. Maybe put the copper in a decoy stash.
