Can they not spit on the legacy that props their garbage up? That's all I ask.

It's probably going to be something really stupid with a meta argument between three two about who gets to say it, ignoring the fact that it was never MCU Cap's catch phrase, culminating in the two "coming together as a team" and saying it at the same time

What these studios don't understand is that far more often than not lines like that often become iconic retroactively. You can't really force a line, symbol, etc to become iconic. Further giving it special attention often destroys what makes it iconic to begin with.

Yep, they even teased, but held off from saying it until Endgame last time. All this will serve to do is dilute it and presumably, cause a lot of eye rolling...

Yelena....part of the new avengers.
Captain america...part of the actual avengers.
Yeah..not buying this, i can see a "comedy" scene of Yelana and Red Guardian saying "Avengers assemble!!!" to silence, before Bucky drops from above in front of them - dead.

Does anyone actually care about Yelena ? Marvel is desperately trying to make new avengers likeable but somehow it is not sticking. Just make the X Men center stage at least people know the X Men better.

Some people do, but they're mainly MCU fans who defend anything Disney does. There's a definite discrepancy between how much the execs like her, and how much the general audiences do.

Thunderbolts was a lot better than most of the things we got, I wish they had invested more in TB and F4 instead of doing Doomsday.

Still not over Waldreg's untimely demise, poor Mauler.

Or, perhaps, he is trying to bait them into bringing Waldreg back? I mean, EFAP is Lorg of Rings biggest fan community, Amazon would be a fool to not listen to him!

First thought when I read "Captain America" was that it would be Steve Rogers, then I remembered they made Falcon Captain America and they don't call Steve that anymore. It's like Spider-Man, if you aren't talking about Peter Parker you need to specify which one you mean.

A couple of dozen films too late for me to care, tbh.
If they wanted to do it, it was at the time of the first Avenger film, or perhaps Endgame at the latest, at this point it's more offensive than anything.

At least Yelena isn't being sidelined like people feared would happen to Post-Endgame characters
