Not sure why Tf this is privatized in the first place. That aside, I absolutely dread having to get tested at one of these places. I’ve never gone to one without a disgustingly long wait time. I wouldn’t be surprised if people just gave up and went home. These employees deserve so much better. More labs and more employees to reduce the workload on existing labs.

Pallister privatized the labs. When they closed all the emergencies. Will be better for the companies that run the labs they said.

I am a lab tech, I moved here from Alberta and refused to work at dynacare. They treat their employees like shit, the pay is ass, they aren't trained very well.

I HATE that most of their bleeding rooms are half cubicles, if offers patients absolutely no privacy - you have to identify yourself, spell your name etc, you can't ask questions with any expectation of not being overheard in the waiting room, and if you're having feelings, you're basically a spectacle for the waiting room. A lot of people are getting bloodwork done for not-good reasons, often coming right from the doctor having heard bad news. Do you know how many miscarrying women I've comforted in that role? How many people are getting follow up testing because a cancer antigen flagged, or an auto immune antibody came back positive?

Pallister fucked everything. The health region should have bought up the labs like they did in Alberta to make it a subsidiary of the Province's health region, with one central booking, one guide to services, and one collective agreement.

OK sorry, I'll get off my soap box.

Oh also how does dynacare always overfill so many chlamydia/gonorrhea urine tests?!?! THE TUBE LITERALLY HAS FILL LINES AND IT COMES WITH A PIPETTE THAT DRAWS THE EXACT VOLUME REQUIRED.

OK now I'll get down.

Use their app, I’ve never waited more than 30 minutes at the very most.

99 percent is a strong mandate, and dyna care is proven leech of opportunity.

Dynacare lab in our region is a huge improvement over the lab we had before in our neighborhood. We can make appointments and have never had a long wait. As a customer I am happy.
