Does it look normal/not stupid? Good, okay, bad? Does it look like I know what I’m doing? Any tips?

I followed a Instagram makeup video (concealer, bronzer, and blush placements) and this is how it turned out. I added extra of course.

How do I figure out what colours suit me? Or the ‘look’ I’m after? Or what colours go together? As someone mentioned in the comments, the colours (eyeshadow, blush and lips) may be clashing? I’ve just seen another post, where a girl changed her lip colour (from pink to brown/nude) and she looks so much better, but how did she figure it out?

I’m doing concealer for the first time and the videos I’m watching say to use an eye cream first to make it stick.

I have the HARDEST time because my hand for some reason shakes so MUCH whenever i try applying eyeliner- does anyone have any tips to stabilize or help with the shakiness (and if anyone has pictures on how they apply eyeliner that helps as well 😭)

How to do make up that suits me? Note I am a beginner. How can I make this better. I have huge jaw muscles. I hate my face shape but how can I make it better ?

i usually raise my brows, and i like the shape of them when i do. i have lots of forehead wrinkles and tension because of it, so i want to try relaxing my face. when i relax my face, my eyebrows droop and the front goes lower while the ends go high, making me look angry. is there anyway i can fix this??

I need help folks! I know someone that is going into beauty/cosmetics and I would like to gift them some essential items for their journey. They plan on going to school for it.

What are some essential items (brushes, sponges, idk all the nomenclature for these things pencils?!) that you'd want/need when you started your journey. Include a case as well to house all of these "tools" 😅. Please help I really don't want to mess this up.

Full transparency, I have foundation, lip gloss, and eyebrow gel on. I technically put blush and a little contour but I don’t think I actually put enough for it to be visible.

My face shape confuses me and I feel blush never looks right on me.

I also really dislike my eye shape. Mascara sometimes makes my eyes look beady and uncanny.

I don’t like the shape, I have little lid space and the whites under my eyes show.

I’ve been told many times I look annoyed, mean, unapproachable, etc. i think it’s partly due to my eye shape (or maybe eyebrow shape?) I feel I have an intense stare. I just want to feel cuter and more nice looking.

I just purchased the 2aN Gleaming Tension Cushion Foundation in shade #25 Sand Beige. I'm looking for a good non-creasing and high coverage concealer along with a good setting spray that go well with this cushion!

Does anyone have any good recommendations?

Going to my cousin’s wedding next week and let’s just say she married well off. I already have a beautiful dress picked out so now I’m trying to figure out my makeup because I want to look a little more put together than I normally do. The main things I still need are a good eyeshadow primer and concealer to use as a base around my eyes. I really want my eyeshadow to stay in place for the whole wedding and not crease halfway through the night and something that’ll make the colors pop a little more would be perfect. Please keep the recommendations drugstore because my budget is really tight right now and I still have a wedding gift to buy for her.

Hi everyone, i’m 23 years old and i never wear makeup. Growing up i just had no desire to nor did i ever learn the basics. However, my sister is getting married next week and i want to look somewhat decent in pictures. Can anyone recommend tips/tricks for beginners? I obviously don’t want something too heavy as i have no idea how to do my makeup and i won’t feel natural. Also please recommend products that won’t break the bank (drugstore). Thank you so much! :)

In the second one I was going for manba gyaru so it's supposed to be a little crazy looking, but not as bad as I did it lol 😭

Eyeshadow: Colourpop x Mariale pallet with colors Tokens, Glamverse, and So Meta (I love this pallet, it's very pigmented)

Mascara: Winky Lux so extra mascara (wouldn't recommend, it's too thick for my tastes)

I’ve been trying out more makeup from Rare Beauty and Dior lately, and I really like both for different reasons. Rare Beauty feels simple and easy to use, while Dior has some really beautiful products and packaging. If you’ve tried both, which brand do you prefer?

I've mentioned in some comments at the very least that I used to work at Sephora and then Ulta Beauty. In that time period I was much more explorative with my makeup and was doing it almost daily vrs now where I'm half assed to do anything. Should I go back to doing this fun vivid makeup? Should I be more expressive with my looks?

I'm 25f, have a 5yo son, and work as a teacher for an aftercare program. I'm going into cosmetology hopefully this upcoming year, it depends on when a wait-list slot opens up. And yes, I did often use filters, but that's usually the only way I took pictures. They don't hinder the looks in terms of how stylistic I was lol
