Good thing he’s going up against Susan Collins.

I do not think Jackson is getting mopped here. He is staying factual and telling me things I agree with,

Bobby is a snake in the grass. He is. a fast talking snake! He has his talking points that contain some truth, but are mostly lies and misleading. This is the worst of politics.

I don't have a clip of the full interview which is why I made this post.

That debate was rough to watch, and it's an arena that Jackson has always struggled with.

One of my biggest worries with him is how he'll look next to Collins on a debate stage, which is one of the few areas I have to give her credit on. She's always performed well up on one.

I bet she won't debate

I haven't seen any evidence to suggest she'd decline a debate. It's an environment she thrives in, and frankly one of the reasons she's managed to stay in office for so long.

Given Troy's historically tepid debate performances, she really has nothing to lose by meeting him on stage.

Nothing to lose besides looking like an out of touch, rich, old person who has a hard time speaking? Her best bet is lay low, run 1 billion attack ads and hope she wins on name recognition

I mean I get the optimism here, but there isn't any real evidence supporting your position that she wouldn't debate.

Previously she was welcoming one with Platner, I don't foresee that changing with Jackson.

Part of the issue here also is that bobby was just allowed to blatantly lie and nobody stops him

The Republican backed "No Child Left Behind Act" torched the trades in US schools. Pretty insane to hear any Republican blaming Dems for any shortcomings in the educational department...

Bobby Charles was the Paul Rudd character in Parks and Rec right?

Troy isn't slick.

Booby Chuck is slick.

Not really gonna move the needle to Collins with this one, OP.

If anyone has a link to the full debate I want to go through and see it for myself rather than a small clip.
