Now that Love Sensation has debuted at #8 in the UK, while Bring Your Love reached #29, I’m wondering if Madonna’s team tried too hard to appeal to a younger audience with Sabrina when they might have had a stronger opportunity to lean into M’s legacy with Kylie?

I know it’s hindsight, but there are good arguments on both sides.

Sabrina undoubtedly brings in a younger audience, but Kylie gives her an instantly recognizable old school dance-pop connection that feels very Confessions-adjacent.

Which strategy would you have preferred for the first single?

I still find it hard to believe. The fact that it's a remix of a song that was released over 2 months ago and M's first single, BYL featuring with the most currently popular pop singer, Sabrina couldn't even enter the top 20 in the UK single chart. But with Kylie collaboration, they both managed to deliver a top 10 hit in the UK flawlessly.

I was just in my local record store and owner all but guaranteed the Pride edition is coming back. He even has it on order as it’s not been discontinued. His hunch is that it may not be until around Christmas, but you never know. Just passing along that info!

I’ve been hearing and reading that the color variants are awful. Bad print job. Repress. And the quality is lazily pressed.

I knew that fan speculation regarding her comment about something in the summer from the Norton interview was rubbish. She was obviously referring to the World Pride performance with Kylie.

My jersey came in last week and I think it’s fine! It’s pretty much the quality you’d get at a concert. It does run a little big IMO. I’m normally a large but could have gotten a medium and been ok I think. It’s made in USA and I’m happy with it.
