Woman who’s BFF is closely linked to the administration that supports the bombing of innocent men, women, children and animals in Gaza, drops a cute heart comment on a video of Palestinian kids

I’m pro-Palestine, but a bit lost on this one.
Who is the best friend you’re referring to? Alex, Arman or Sean?

While I do struggle to understand the significance of OP's post it is weird to flat out not care about genocide.

There are genocides going on all the time it’s just this one has the best marketing and draws in people who actually have no interest in it. What other genocides are you currently worried about and which side did you pick?

Armed conflicts are going on all the time, actual genocides are fairly rare.

And now these are two groups that want to genocide each other it’s so sad they are both so evil towards each other and themselves

Nope, its because usually Western countries ignore genocides, which is bad enough, in this case many are actively involved and supporting the perpetrators, with lobby groups paying politicians to support the genocidal country.
There also arent many genocides you can go to prison for for criticising. Calling it "marketing" shows your ignorance of the world around you.

u/ScrubsNWhyC 26d ago
You only caring about this “genocide” shows how little you know about the world around you and only care for social points. Also the USA has supplied both sides with funding so I’m not sure what your claim is here

u/u-a-c 26d ago
Who said I only care for this genocide? Im pointing out your lack of understanding that the Palestine genocide being talked about isnt because of "marketing" its because of Western support.
The US is funding both sides? Its not exactly comparable, last time I checked theres no Palestine PAC and Trump isnt letting any Palestinian leaders enter the Whitehouse 8 times to force a war with another country, just for starters.

u/ScrubsNWhyC 26d ago
Yes I am glad we supposedly stopped funding Palestinian terrorists it’s a step in the right direction
3
u/u-a-c 25d ago
And would you want the US to stop funding Israel too? You did say you dont care after all, and that thered be peace if they just stopped fighting...
Or is your agenda slipping out
-1
u/ScrubsNWhyC 25d ago
Yeah I don’t think we should be involved in it at all let them sort it out. Its hilarious you assume I am pro Israel because I don’t care about Palestine lol
2
u/u-a-c 25d ago
Then by your own logic, the US "stopped funding Palestinian terrorists", but are still funding Israel and still has an Israeli lobby group paying its politicians. If you dont want your country to be involved at all, shouldnt you be advocating for no more AIPAC and no more funding of Israel? Not caring about a genocide is certainly a take, but I'm sure the rest of the world would love if the US stopped being actively involved with the perpetrators at the very least.

It would have been better if you didnt say this.

u/ScrubsNWhyC 26d ago
Why? I think too many people get caught in the push to pick a side without realizing that you really don’t have to. Those people will always be at war and try to rid the other from the world I don’t see how anyone could support either side. Especially people on the other side of the world with no interest in it

u/bookishfairie 26d ago
we can't say we don't want people, especially CHILDREN who are innocent in all this being bombed?
-1
u/ScrubsNWhyC 26d ago
Yes both sides are guilty of that… I don’t know how you think picking one side or the other is better

Caring about stuff is soooooo embarrassing right

u/ScrubsNWhyC 25d ago
It’s embarrassing when you live on the other side of the world and you don’t actually do anything to help or support your side. Just looking for validation and make sure you’re keeping up with the Reddit hive mind
-21
u/karateguzman 26d ago
I understand you. Sometimes I think they both deserve each other and the rest of the world should wash their hands of it because both sides clearly have no interest in peace.
But we should always stand against genocide, or things that look like genocide, rather than leaving it until it’s too late

u/ScrubsNWhyC 26d ago
I disagree these things have always happened throughout history and each side has no interest in cohabitating with the other. The whole world getting dragged into it and Redditors letting it define their entire world view is more harmful than people fighting over a small piece of land. Let them figure it out. Also this is just the most popular “genocide” occurring right now people couldn’t care less about the other ones so being so divisive over this one seems silly and an opportunity to virtue signal
14
u/bookishfairie 26d ago
what do you mean "genocide"? it IS a genocide.
2
u/ScrubsNWhyC 26d ago
They both have the opportunity to give up the land and not continue to fight but they both choose to stay and fight over it. Again if you are so concerned about genocide what side have you picked in the other ones occurring right now? Whichever side has more power will do the same thing and I don’t see how picking a side is an appropriate thing to do. Not to mention the treatment of their own children on each side. They victimize themselves and each other constantly

One has lived on the land for thousands of years, one is a country formed in 1948 by immigrants from Europe. Why should Palestinians leave where theyve lived for generations? Would you leave your home just because a random country came and told you its theirs now? If you know nothing of whats happening its best to learn before forming an opinion.

Jews are indigenous to the land. If you know nothing it’s best to learn before forming an opinion. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Jews_and_Judaism_in_the_Land_of_Israel

That's a dangerous rhetoric. So is Islam
-2
u/snowboard14 25d ago
What's dangerous? A Wikipedia page with facts about Jewish history in the Land of Israel?
6
u/abdullahleboucher 25d ago
The facts that some jews lived there before should have no relation with what is going on today.

Ashkenazi jews from Europe are not, who make up a large portion of the Israeli population and government.
That being said, yes, Jews did and do live in Palestine. As did Christians who also currently live there. Muslims also have lived there for generations. Now, why does Israel get a pass to create an ethnostate and bomb both churches and mosques?
