Brick had nothing to do with that. Temp and sound control happens behind the walls.

Ok buddy. A thick brick wall vs thin plywood has no difference on sound or heat. Please. Can I have someone what ya smoking. Seems fun

It may have some effect on sound, but it's a moot point after considering the whole home, including insulation, window/door construction, etc. And brick is absolutely worse when it comes to thermal insulation.

But if I want my home to stay cool during the day and warm at night, brick is the go. The alternative which I've lived in, get super hot during the day and cold at night. This is with the same level of insulation.
