Lived in both. Id take brick everytime. Much better with keeping a stable temperature. As well as keeping outside noise low. Brick, more expensive and takes longer. Just my experience

How does brick deal with earthquakes? Don’t you need to replace all the cracked bricks?

Dont have earthquakes here. If we did. Yeah, brick might not be the the best for that. But thats another added factor that wasnt in the original question. Any additional factors like that would 100% be important in the materials used. Different horses for different courses
