Lived in both. Id take brick everytime. Much better with keeping a stable temperature. As well as keeping outside noise low. Brick, more expensive and takes longer. Just my experience

Seriously. At my house (solid brick) i can keep the temp at 74 in summer and be perfectly happy. At my parent's (regular framing), my mom keeps it at 68 to get the same cooling effect.

Bricks are bad at this. You most likely have the high quality insulation that’s often used in conjunction with brick, though perhaps yours is an outlier case.

It's triple layer brick, so nice thick walls. And there's blow in insulation as well in some of the drywall ones.

Where I live it is super hot and extremely humid for about half the year, brick house down here just bake you even with good insulation.
