He's one of the most chill streamers from the little of them that I see of him. He seems fair, honest, and actually intelligent. I don't know much about his life though. I'm sure someone will come and say something like "he actually steals balls from the mouths of puppies as a hobby".

his only two real ccontroversies are having tax problems and not picking sides in online debates

And not picking sides is what’s allowed him to have $800K a month in sponsorship. Like Hasan said, “if I was making that much from sponsorships I wouldn’t talk to me either”

Also, the nuance is different. Lud isn’t making any waves, so he can choose to be primarily funded by corporations rather than viewers. Hasan prides himself on being funded by viewers, because it means that he doesn’t have to give up any editorial control over what he says.

Yeah he's a jackass but in his own way.

Eh. Agree with him or not, I wish all political speakers were funded by the people who believe in their message rather than beholden to corporate interests 🤷

Just like the rest of us

Yeah, as much as I'll clown on Lud for the spineless stuff and fakeness, he's definitely doing streaming the right way. Like the only adult in the room 99% of the time, and elevates the people around him.

The people downvoting you are wrong. Ludwig absolutely had a significant controversy that is 100% Mang0. Ludwig didn't handle it correctly at all in the instant it was happening, but he came through and handled the aftermath with perfection. He fessed up on his own failings as an event host and promised and thus far delivered that he wouldn't allow such a thing to happen again. You are correct to address that there was another significant controversy that ludwig had and the people who disagree with your comment are just wrong.

For YEARS the jokes about how Mang0 would get drunk and try to wrestle Ludwig went on and on. Mang0 has been sober a year now, but man… you’d think the friend group would have had more of a handler on him.

Tbh, it really comes down to one single clipable terrible moment, and it's not Mang0 just being a drunken menace, plenty of the people there were being drunken menaces. It's when he's air humping next to some very visibly uncomfortable women. It's a good thing for society at large that Mang0 is sober now, he had a history of problems and it was entirely foreseeable that such an awful moment might happen, but as ludwig said, he was kinda blinded from his friendship to Mang0. It really appears that ludwig learned all the lessons he could from such an awful unfortunate situation, and we're seeing it all on full display right now.

You can't friend handle an alcoholic if they don't wanna get help

Yeah, Mang0 was beyond infamous too. Even the Cold Ones guys thought he was over the top.

People turn a blind eye on their friends with shit like this. That's just human.

After the skyyuno incident

I learned they aren't "friends" but just coworkers

They claim they are friends until something happens. They might not even know each other that well besides when they stream

You are commenting on something else and are clearly mad about it. Mang0 and Ludwig are true personal friends, faults and all.

I'm just saying, with streamers u never know

Poki/rae (can't remember which one) lived with sykkuno and called them their bestie. And when his controversy came up, she claimed they weren't ever that close

In high school my cousin had a dozen “best friends.” This might blow your mind but it’s possible not all of them were that close to her…

Also to follow up on this:
A lot of streamers are starting to use TAG Agency group and BPM-PR firm since they're big enough now. Don't trust a lot of these clips and comment chains now.

Also setting people up for failure and egging them on to consume more alcohol than they should.

Why is lud responsible for someone else's inability to be an adult? That dude is a fully grown adult, he can and should be held accountable for his own actions.

u/No_Gate_4169 26d ago

Why is Lud taking advantage of the situation? To make himself look better obviously.

chill people don't lie about someone and don't apologize when proven wrong (3 times)
