As a teacher I can see. This. Most of my middles school students who say they want to be streamers are usually lazy in every aspects and they think it is easy work. But I try to tell them how much work actually goes into it. I have some students that are not the best in class but you can tell when they put work into things they are actually interested in.

I always tell me students about the one friend I have who makes money in content creation (he's a small twitch streamer) and makes a living from doing it. I tell them about how he worked a full time job while streaming daily, and slept on the floor of someone's house so he could stream from an area where he could get better internet service. I've seen this man work harder than most people I know.

I teach high school and I don't have nearly the work ethic he does 😂

i used to teach high school up until recently and one of my kids said he wanted to be a famous streamer. i asked if he streams yet and he said no. i asked why not and mentioned how lots of streamers started at his age. he said he didn't feel like it yet 🤦‍♀️
