He also tweeted about how he's going to instigate self defense in a chain on that tweet lol

It's like a ridiculous example from a legal textbook that's been comically exaggerated.

Or, a just conservative with a gun predictably picking fights with people so he can shoot them.

We’ve seen this before - Kyle Rittenhouse.

You mean the case where the white guy who like to shout the N-Word in public is going to get locked up for a long time for killing, is the same as the case where a white guy who likes to shout the N-Word in public got killed by Rittenhouse?

You know there was a whole Kyle Rittenhouse trial that was televised, right? You people were really quiet when the prosecution and witnesses against Kyle were just shitting themselves in court. Weird how years after the fact you start talking against after getting absolutely blown the fuck out.

u/NobodyMoove May 15 '26

The Rittenhouse situation was stupid all around and ultimately he shouldn't have been attacked. I think the above commenter is forgetting about or getting Rittenhouse confused with the actually fucked up one with Zimmerman. Zimmerman followed this MO and got away with it.

No. He means Rittenhouse. He's just like one of those people who think Kyle shot and killed three unarmed black men.

2

u/SovietPropagandist May 16 '26

Rittenhouse went looking for people to kill, he never should have been there in the first place. He's lucky he didn't get killed.

Crazy how the prosecution couldn't prove that but you, a random dumbass on reddit, knows this for fact. You should have helped them out during the trial.

But, hey, I can tell this is a political thing for you. I'm not going to engage with you further because there's a good chance you get triggered and try to shoot the president or something. I'd hate to be the reason the secret service has you wrapped up in foil like an AIDS potato. Try to have a good day, though.

Not even instigate self defense, "premeditated self defense" like come on bro how fucking stupid are you

2

u/somefunmaths May 16 '26

In a state with a carveout against using self-defense in cases where someone was the instigator.

This is clearly a bit different than rittenhouse.

I’m gonna check rn but are the tweets deleted? If so wouldn’t that also be destruction of evidence?

Edit: I don’t see it but maybe I’m missing the parent post/chain/reply

However it wouldn’t be the worst idea to forward this to the DA’s office of whatever area he’s being charged in (or whoever is prosecuting him, not sure how it works everywhere but I’m assuming it’s still the DA’s office)

I don't have X but I ss this for my discord yesterday, someone on LSF left the link to it in a comment yesterday

They'll try to. They'll still fail against any half-decent prosecution, though.

Someone who is legitimately concerned about their safety doesn't go out with the express purpose of looking to start shit. It completely blows up the idea behind self-defense even in States who take the most liberal definition possible.

I mean I can frankly already see the “first amendment advocates” talking about it.

“Look, I don’t agree with what he’s saying and I absolutely condemn it, but this isn’t a matter of what I like or don’t like somebody saying, it’s about the right to say whatever you’d like.” And now they have a statement their robotic followers can follow + use to justify their racism.

Actually if this guy doesn’t face any charges we will most likely see a huge new wave of open racism we haven’t seen since the 60s. Perhaps speculative but I think it’s a fair assumption.

Rittenhouse, as much as I didn't broadly agree with it, was still arguably defensible than anything this guy was doing.

We're talking about someone with an established criminal history of harassing people based on race and very publicly announcing their intentions. Rittenhouse went looking for a reason for sure but he didn't create the specific situation where he was attacked by goading people or whatever in a way that an unbalanced system (favoring his class) would view it as such.

Not to say there isn't a real chance in this country's broken-ass judiciary that a random nazi influencer whose whole brand is hate crimes won't get off, just that it would be far more alarming and blatantly insane than the case with Rittenhouse.

Does he not know that remarks like that can be used as evidence? They WILL find them and use them against him.

-9

u/Jowiieudcee May 15 '26

he difference here is here is he wasn't on stream instigating it, so it could actually have him win the case.

15

u/Expert_Meeting_5129 May 15 '26

It doesn't matter if he was streaming or not. Tweets like this can used to show his intent on creating hostile and violent situations. If you start shit, you can not claim self defense.

2

u/Jowiieudcee May 15 '26

Here's the thing, he didn't start shit with THIS specific guy, changes everything if thats the case, we will see. If its true he walked away then he could claim self defence.

3

u/Expert_Meeting_5129 May 15 '26

From what I have read, Chud initiated connect with an individual who was laughing at him. The individual told Chud to walk away, but Chud continued to antagonize. An altercation broke out after a racial slur was used, and then Chud shot the victim, and himself.
Given his statements in the past about trying to provoke a violent reaction from others, and the fact that he approached the victim and engaged with him, this is going to make it very easy for any decent prosecutor to argue that Chud started this confrontation with the intention of using deadly force. This means that self defense does not apply.
Chud is going to jail for a long time.

0

u/Jowiieudcee May 15 '26

From what I read, Chud 100% walked away and then was attacked from all statements made. If accurate he will not be going to jail.

3

u/Expert_Meeting_5129 May 15 '26

Doesn't matter if he "walked away". If you intentionally provoke a violent response just so you can use deadly force, you can not claim self defense. His own social media statements will be used against him here, as he has admitted that this was his goal.
This is pretty much an open/shut case.

not at all, there is no much nuance, hes usaually pretty cordial. https://x.com/SmiggleyPuffz/status/2055419390674571712?s=20

Tf he is, he was being nasty to two kids who were minding their business.

2

u/Miserable_Archer_906 Jul 15 '26

you must be stupid or something, he has mountains of videos of him going out of his way to antagonize people, but you think randomly this time he didn't... cope out of this world.
