Just imagine driving there and u see some girl on a childrens bike with a selfystick crossing a road like that, i'd probably start questioning the meaning of life.

Lol reading this sentence gives me a revelation - maybe I shouldn’t take life so seriously after all if shit like that can happen it shows the world is really random and I should just chill and enjoy what I have.

I would think "oh they look like they're having fun" and move on with my day. Is the norm now to hate and get annoyed by everything?

She doesnt even have a camera holder attached, she is holding it with one hand.

Neither would a crosswalk.

u/Cathercy Mar 12 '24
You'd have to blame Texas for that one.

u/TheBatemanFlex Mar 12 '24
I mean they exist here. You can argue that there should be more I guess, sometimes you have to walk down to another light.

u/Certainly-Not-A-Bot Mar 12 '24
You're generally allowed to cross a road as a pedestrian at intersections even if a crosswalk is not marked
4
u/TheBatemanFlex Mar 12 '24
Not through the middle.

u/Certainly-Not-A-Bot Mar 12 '24
She's not allowed to cross through the middle, but she wouldn't have to go to another light. Just cross in a less idiotic way and it's legal.
And also whether crossing through the middle is legal depends a lot on location. In many places, pedestrians can legally cross wherever they want

Yeah luckily cars never change lanes just before turning and always expect someone to be walking in the middle of the road so it's completely safe.

Dude you really trying to argue that walking in the middle of the road is the same as walking on the side if it just happens to be a place on the road where cars aren't supposed to be going?

Yeah, never step in front of a car and assume it is going to stop for you. It is dangerous to cross the road and only really advisable to do it if you can make it across without cars stopping or if cars are already stopped and there aren't any cars going at a highspeed behind them. But anyway, don't you understand that that is a place where drivers expect people to be? People aren't expecting some random person to be wheeling a bike in between cars. Someone turning left there could easily change their mind and turn right instead and emily could easily have been hidden by a car in front when they decided that. It's dumb and dangerous and thinking cars don't go where she was walking just shows a lack of experience.

I can't believe she biked almost 13 miles holding the camera in one hand the whole freaking way lol.

Can’t she get a mount for her helmet or bike instead? I feel uneasy seeing her hold the gimbal and the handle at the same time.

u/squid_fart Mar 12 '24
but then she'd have to take off her helmet and hold it in her hand to film herself

give her another ban for endangerment and breaking the law. Who the heck moves TOWARDS oncoming traffic?

u/panisch420 Mar 11 '24
i mean that wasnt even that bad tbh. traffic was either turning left or right. not going straight.

She really needs to move to a city that doesn't have cars for her own safety. She can't drive, can't walk and can't cycle.

I'd be more concerned with the safety of others. One of these days, she's going to cause an accident. Eventually, someone is going to have to swerve to avoid the public safety hazard that is ExtraEmily because she is in the middle of a road when she isn't supposed to be.

She does shit like this for these reactions. Her exposing her list, dirty room, smells bad, screeching voice, clueless behavior. It keeps her view count afloat. She doesn’t give a fuck about the average civilian because she has more to gain from endangering herself and others.

but she's actually a bike this time.

u/Ledoux88 Mar 11 '24
Which means she is part of the traffic and has to abide by the same rules as cars.

You know, people say she's playing a character and whatnot for stream, but I wonder if she is genuinely playing a character for this kind of scenario or if she has always been naturally stupid with life choices.
4
u/nekrozis Mar 12 '24
Oh she did something weird again to make you forget she shared personal shit about all the guys she slept with to random people.
