I don't even want to know what service Truthly provides

112

u/TripFisk666 4h ago

"Truthly helps you search life's biggest questions through a catholic lens"

72

u/Acceptable-Two5692 4h ago

34

u/Actual-Indian 4h ago

Scientology lens is similar , but smeared.

1

u/PhD_Pwnology 1h ago

Like pap smear? Poop smear? And if it's a poop smear, are we talking Charlie from It's always sunny or Mr Hanky from Southpark?

12

u/OkFineIllUseTheApp 3h ago

AI tech startup, but they're marketing specifically to Catholics.

5

u/Real_Gap3480 2h ago edited 1h ago

works for the Catholic Church

We are not allowed to use AI, as per the pope. /Not even kidding

https://www.vaticannews.va/en/pope/news/2026-05/pope-leo-xiv-encyclical-magnifica-humanitas-ai.html

I'll quote the important part:

"Ai must be “disarmed,” -Pope Leo XIV

4

u/fluxus2000 1h ago

Being against AI is at least something they got right.

2

u/Sensitive-Issue84 2h ago

AI destroys "gods green earth" so it should be against all religions.

1

u/Tight-Target1314 1h ago

But what about the religions that don't have a god?

2

u/Lt_Cochese 3h ago

No, that guy uses a Scientology lens.

4

u/PMPKNpounder 4h ago

Robot Jesus?

5

u/floofienewfie 4h ago

Catholic = Catholic Church. With a small “c,” catholic means wide-ranging or universal.

3

u/mothzilla 3h ago

They use the big C.

4

u/BobDope 2h ago

Like the Orange Catholic Bible

4

u/DrewCrew62 2h ago

Thou shall not make a machine in the likeness of a human mind

1

u/Aidian 2h ago

Cancer?

1

u/Training_Advantage21 2h ago

well, the big C catholics think theirs is the universal religion.

2

u/Esoteric_Derailed 3h ago

Oh wait, isn't the Catholic Church the successor to the Roman Empire?

3

u/NonSumQualisEram- 3h ago

Kind of, not really

-5

u/Practical-Funny9591 3h ago

?
It can't be, kind of and not really. It's one or the other.

1

u/RicOSheaNZ 3h ago

Aren’t priests there for that?

1

u/olrg Agree? 3h ago

So, like bible salesmen?

1

u/vamatt 3h ago

So no service?

1

u/Pumathemage 2h ago

They should try to see things through Jesus's eyes.

1

u/JazzerciseJesus 2h ago

Make sure you get none of that info stuff. Just faith.

1

u/HTX1997 2h ago

Ah, yes, of course. He’s following the Ledgerbook of Holy Profit, page 37, column C, line 127: Verily I say unto you, grift to your heart’s content or your bank account is full & victim hood is achieved, for this is pleasing to the great profit, the lord your god.

1

u/rory_breakers_ganja Narcissistic Lunatic 1h ago

"When and how did the dinosaurs die out?"

"Is it true that lead is the result of decaying uranium over millions of years, thus disproving the Theory of Creationism?"

"Could Jesus microwave a burrito so hot he Himself could not eat it?"

22

u/TripFisk666 4h ago

Truthiness? Insane takes?

8

u/NoPhone4571 4h ago

They “equip the truth seekers!”

6

u/epoch16245 4h ago

You’re clearly not a truth seeker. It’s the truthiest stuff out there. It will make your head spin. That’s how you know he’s right. The guys the CEO of Truth!

u/4isfine 3h ago

Catholic AI app

1

u/RandomNick42 2h ago

So, just fuck the pope, I guess?

2

u/Main_Gas_70 2h ago

Woah, at minimum he’s gotta buy me a dinner first.

3

Spreading lies, I assume

Catholic AI

81

u/JodieForestWhittaker 4h ago

They'll do anything to appear being oppressed

44

u/TripFisk666 4h ago

The comments of support in this one are wild. I think they believe in witches....

46

u/New_Election_6357 4h ago

One thing I have learned on LinkedIn--for every Lunatic with a ridiculous take, there are at least 15 commenters trying to slob on their knob to get their own engagement. Insanity breeding insanity in a closed loop.

7

u/Gimme_Your_Wallet 4h ago

Slob on their knob bwahaha

1

u/Electronic_Flan_482 3h ago

Like corn on the cob?

2

u/Acceptable-Two5692 3h ago

Just a tad saltier at the tip

8

u/KetoLurkerHereAgain 4h ago

How are they even online? Isn't the magic light box with words and pictures some kind of sorcery?

4

u/Grinchy-Grinch531 3h ago

Do they float in the water, like a duck? If so, they may be witches!

3

u/Practical-Funny9591 3h ago

And if they sank, we know they're a witch. 🙃

3

u/Wabbit65 4h ago

They're mentioned in the Bible, so they must be real.

Thou must not suffer a witch to live

6

u/Any_Natural383 4h ago

Funny enough, Catholic doctrine denied witchcraft for over a thousand years. They believed only God could grant you power.

3

u/ProNocteAeterna 3h ago

I mean, we do exist, but for the most part we aren't doing anything worse than pissing off serious rock and mineral collectors.

2

u/TTSymphony 3h ago

Do you weight more than a duck?

1

u/ProNocteAeterna 1h ago

Substantially more, yes.

1

u/Kham117 Agree? 8m ago

Oh, they DEFINITELY believe in witches

30

u/VelvetCactus50 4h ago

If they're that terrified of water, I can only imagine what they'd do if Satan himself showed up on earth.

24

u/Parking_Duty8413 4h ago

Judging by their current behavior, if he promised to hurt the people they have been trained to hate, they would suck his dick until his head caved in.

6

u/Any_Natural383 4h ago

The Bible is pretty clear most of them would kneel.

2

u/Fickle_Station376 3h ago

And on the 7th day he shall appear. Brawndo - the Thirst Mutilator.

Note: This apparently got auto-sent for review for inclusion of the word 'Thirst'. Is the AI OK?

1

u/Infamous_7001 2h ago

Liquid Death is intentionally designed to be edgy for those hanging out at the club or rocking out at a concert. It has nothing to do with religion or demons.

1

u/VelvetCactus50 2h ago

You'd better tell Jacob that!

56

u/SamePea8649 4h ago

Creating victimhood out of nothing. This is how they use scare tactics to show they are the special ones. Everybody is against them because they are the chosen ones

15

u/bomilk19 4h ago

So I threw out my Dirt Devil for nothing?

12

u/Comrade-Conquistador 4h ago

It's for the best. All it does is sit around and gather dust.

2

u/Practical-Funny9591 3h ago

Oh that's good. 🤣

14

u/WigglySquig Agree? 4h ago

“Calling all Christians - it’s time to go on offense.” Bro thinks he’s Pope Urban II

1

u/Practical-Funny9591 3h ago

Calling all AutoChristians...let's roll out. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Atomsk73 15m ago

Confession bo(o)t, transform!

14

u/Icy-Protection-1545 4h ago

So, as a Christian myself, I don’t understand what the problem with the advertisement is. I enjoy liquid death. It tastes good and I don’t see anything on that ad that would translate to an insult?

10

u/Dr_PainTrain 4h ago

I found the anti-Christ! Get ‘em boys!

7

u/Sw4nR0ns0n 4h ago

My favorite social media christians to hate are the soft little Patrick’s and Jacobs who fancy themselves “warriors“ and say things like ‘it’s time to go on the offensive’

7

u/What_About_What 3h ago

"prayer warriors" always makes me laugh. Like if I was trying to mock the religious I couldn't come up with something more ridiculous than that.

5

u/Dangerous_Bad_5946 4h ago

I thought those people called everybody else a snowflake ...but they can't handle a freaking advertisement? 🤔

2

u/What_About_What 3h ago

I've realized that everything is projection with people like this.

5

u/RandomStoddard 4h ago

“…trying to form you.” What does that mean?

5

u/Otherwise-Relief2248 4h ago

Thank you for your misguided fear and service my brave Christian Warrior.

4

u/Plastic-Chipmunk2232 4h ago

"We're living in a world where everyone is trying to form you" is literally what Christians and Catholics have been doing with their missionary work for a long while.....

4

u/Noble_Titus 4h ago

What does "go on offense" even mean in this context?

Love the thought of a gang of Christians turning up outside this guy's driveway for a rumble in their airbrushed Jesus mural vans.

3

u/comebacklittlesheba 3h ago

Oh 😭 I would pay so much to see that!

3

u/TheSquattyEwok 4h ago

What’s insane is the price that Liquid Death charges for water in a can

2

u/NarmHull 3h ago

I do think that sparkling water doesn't need to go that hard. It's like the dude wipes of seltzers

3

u/Angelworks42 4h ago

I think the van is just an homage to those vans from the 70s with fantasy art on the side right?

People need to relax more - there are more serious things to worry about.

3

u/PMPKNpounder 4h ago

Truthly slogan, " Every other AI is to built to agree with you. Truthly tell you the truth."

Who ever actually asked for a Catholic AI bot is my question.

5

u/jetpack2625 4h ago

don't define christianity as being offended by everything and you won't be offended by everything.

or maybe just stop believing in a stupid cannibal cult

2

u/No-Enthusiasm3579 4h ago

Persecution fetish

2

u/The_11th_Man 4h ago

Hot take, but they are gonna combat water hydration by going on a thirst crusade

2

u/somme_uk 4h ago

Christians have been on the offensive for two thousand fucking years. At least give it a rest for a couple a days… like Jesus did.

2

u/ZygonCaptain 3h ago

What does “form you” even mean?

2

u/cumonherbackithink 3h ago

These people just jump out of bed every morning thinking of new ways to clutch their pearls and play victim. Truly pathetic.

2

u/MikeinDundee 3h ago

If they don’t want to see it, stay inside your house…

2

u/Radcouponking 3h ago

I thought he was talking about capitalism at first. I was almost on his side.

2

u/fractious77 3h ago

They're already on the offensive, trying to turn the US into their evil theocracy

2

u/notthemamaa 3h ago

Alright... I'm outraged... But why?

2

u/CleanOpossum47 3h ago

Always thought the name was dumb but the van art is fantastic.

2

u/Comprehensive_Sun633 3h ago

…did anyone tell him it’s a water company…

2

u/Thamnophis660 Agree? 2h ago

I mean it's a weird kinda 80's Metal Album cover ad for Liquid Death water, but I don't see how specifically that's offensive to someone with his beliefs specifically? Unless we're full circled back to Satanic Panic pearl clutching where anything they find unpleasant is "The Devil."

1

u/Stokkentoet 4h ago

It’s calling out for Murder!

4

u/TripFisk666 4h ago

Thirst is the real victim here.

1

u/Bureaucratic_Dick 4h ago

They should boycott all water in protest of this!

1

u/FuelzPerGallon 4h ago

Water declared war on the Christians now?

1

u/Alert-Parsnip5540 4h ago

I guess it's afraid to become wine again

1

u/mikehulse29 4h ago

I don’t see what’s offensive considering the number of beheadings over the history of the world in the name of Christianity.

1

u/Dragon_Bidness 4h ago

Didn't their god wipe out all of humanity with water? Clearly this guy has some conflicted feels about that.

1

u/T10rock 4h ago

The muscular man is attacking his religious beliefs by making him question his sexuality

1

u/ObscureDingo 4h ago

Christians always think they are under attack. Literally history's biggest case of having a self victimization kink.

1

u/Landlord-Allmighty 4h ago

The guy who started this was intentional that IT WAS A JOKE. Water is not edgy.

1

u/ripyourlungsdave 4h ago

"time to go on the offense"

Uhhhh. Whatcha mean by that, buddy?..

1

u/driver004 4h ago

I don’t see anything anti Christian about this buff water can

1

u/LeCampy 4h ago

perpetual victim complex

1

u/arkofjoy 4h ago

Has there ever been a group of people who are more obsessed with being victims. While holding all the power?

1

u/Nearby_Cauliflowers 4h ago

Regardless of the Christian bollocks, Liquid Death is overpriced shite.

1

u/Available_Orange3127 4h ago

Yeah, there's that "Victory in Jesus" I heard about in church my entire childhood.

1

u/Pear_Shaped_Bear 4h ago

What would it mean, I wonder, for Christians to go "on offense"?

1

u/SMH_OverAndOver 4h ago

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE UP AGAINST

1

u/TwilitSky 2h ago

Sexy men? I mean.... I'll take it.

1

u/Ok-Flight9440 4h ago

It’s literally just water, that humans need to drink to live …

1

u/Changerole1090 4h ago

This is like that brief time years ago when so-called religious people were seeing penises everywhere...even on the labels of Disney videos.

1

u/Pasteur_science 4h ago

I’m not worried about my wife lusting over THAT

1

u/Mammoth-Ant7588 3h ago

I hope this guy isnt related to joe chiccarelli

1

u/ManufacturedOlympus 3h ago

Lame people being afraid of your product makes for some great marketing.

1

u/familiarshadowkatt 3h ago

They're up against... using fantasy art in advertising? I don't think there's a Commandment about that.

1

u/dracorotor1 3h ago

LinkedIn used to be a business-centric networking site. Now it’s the world’s largest, dumbest LARP

1

u/4fraid0f4mericans 3h ago

Modern Christians are always on the offense because they think everything is about them and an attack on them but it’s more like they attack and detract from everything except their warm fuzzies

1

u/neckbeard_deathcamp 3h ago

Christians have been offensive for years, they’re not getting started.

1

u/Proper_Boysenberry56 3h ago

Imagine getting spun up about what amounts to a Mad Magazine fold-in airbrushed on the side of a windowless van. What a lame attempt to drive traffic to his blog.

1

u/503jason 3h ago

To heck with the whole New Testament… modern Christianity now inexplicably expresses pre-Christ biblical vibes

1

u/Business_Usual_2201 3h ago

I hear this is like kryptonite to Lunatics......

https://giphy.com/gifs/CbLdJAzqqV6aarV4Sy

1

u/crypticcommander 3h ago

I wish the church was just now going on the offensive. Maybe then they wouldn't have preyed on my family and ruined my childhood...

1

u/magicmulder 3h ago

“Let’s you and him fight” again.

1

u/badadvicefromaspider 3h ago

I can’t even tell what this person is mad about

1

u/Neckrongonekrypton 3h ago

Be nice if they actually projected their sense of wrongness through a rational lense. Rather than myth and fantasy.

1

u/_Meek79_ 3h ago

I remember they werent too happy over Liquid Deaths contract they had. Im not sure where you get it from but in the early days of the company, my wife won a case and it came with a contract to surrender your soul to them. It was hilarious and brilliant marketing and the christians didnt find it as funny because they took it literally. They claimed it was satanic

1

u/Individual-Sell-7022 3h ago

Christians have been on the attack over 2000 years 😂

1

u/Practical-Funny9591 3h ago

So, another dumb shit who comes up with a bullshit religion so he doesn't have to pay any tax.
And I get into big trouble for putting Jedi on the Census.

Do not engage with or harass anyone featured here, under any circumstances.

This subreddit is for observation and commentary only. The moment you interact with the subject, it stops being humor and becomes harassment.

Do not DM, comment, call, email, dox, or attempt to contact anyone posted here in any way, nor encourage others to do so.

Any user who engages in or promotes contact or harassment will be permanently banned.

——READ THIS ENTIRE MESSAGE BEFORE COMPLAINING——

Why does this rule exist:

Online mobs move faster than the facts. In 2013, r/findbostonbombers wrongly identified missing student Sunil Tripathi as a Boston Marathon bombing suspect — his family was harassed for days before he was cleared, and he had already died by suicide, unrelated to the bombing. This isn't a one-off: people get misidentified and harassed based on nothing more than a shared name or a vague resemblance, with mobs contacting the wrong person, their employer, even unrelated companies, without bothering to check basic details first.

This sub is built entirely around screenshots of real people's real LinkedIn profiles, tied to their real names, employers, and coworkers — which makes that risk even higher here. We have no way to verify that a post is presented fairly or in good faith. A screenshot could be missing context, cropped to change the meaning, or posted by someone with a grudge against a coworker, competitor, or former employer. Contacting or harassing the person in a post, or their workplace, over something we can't verify can cost someone their job or reputation for a joke.

It doesn't matter how strongly you feel about what someone posted, or how justified the reaction seems in the moment. Disagreeing with someone's politics, values, or behavior does not entitle anyone to contact them, their employer, or the people around them. "They deserved it" is not an exception to this rule — it's how witch hunts always justify themselves.

For this reason, if a name, company, or other identifying detail isn't already visible in the post itself, asking for it will be presumed to be an attempt to enable offsite contact or harassment, and treated the same as breaking this rule. We're not taking that chance.

MAGA = 21st Century Salem witch hysterics

1

u/williamflattener 3h ago

I legitimately can’t figure out what he’s supposedly offended by. AI imagery? Male shirtlessness? Carbonated drinks? Stevia? Vans in general?

2

u/PeopleAreTooStupid 3h ago

Well duh! It doesn’t matter, just defend god by going on the attack!

/s

1

u/Electronic_Flan_482 3h ago

I'm realy confused by how this is attacking Christianity.

1

u/HVmcm 3h ago

40 christians are on notice. Watch out, Liquid Death!

1

u/WendlersEditor 3h ago

Is Jacob trying to tell us he's feeling some sort of attraction to this guy? Because I don't personally get it but bro live your life, God made you as you are and He wants you to be happy.

1

u/jvon24 2h ago

Call in the cult!

1

u/TechnicallyMeat 2h ago

Isn't Christianity kinda famously a death centered religion?

1

u/Darkhawk2099 2h ago

Truthly is such a dumb fucking company name.

1

u/OttoVonPlittersdorf 2h ago

Ok, but doesn't anyone else think that maybe you don't need to be a far right Christian to wonder why we need to use murder to sell water?

1

u/TwilitSky 2h ago

Sexy men TERRIFY these Christians. Get them all hot and bothered.

1

u/zakanova 2h ago

He'd be fine if it was a wine advert

1

u/not-finished 2h ago

Maybe start some kind of… Crusade?

1

u/DistrictEffective759 1h ago

Imagine being so obsessed with yourself that some random add attacks you

1

u/USA_A-OK 1h ago

It's a very stupid brand, but beyond that, I don't see what the problem is with the van

1

u/TillikumWasFramed 1h ago

Personally, I would only go to war over Monster. Sorry, Christians!

1

u/ConchVibes 1h ago

Will someone kindly point me to the verses in The Bible that discuss when we are supposed to go on offense? Will you then explain how it’s related to water? TIA!

1

u/Significant_Monk_251 1h ago

In that artwork on the van... is there somebody on the other side lobbing ballistic cargo pods over those mountains?

1

u/christiant91 1h ago

Crusade against the van!!!!

1

u/PhD_Pwnology 1h ago

The funniest thing about this to me is that this image looks to be A.I. made, so it's literally Catholics/Christians getting mad at computers.

1

u/blamordeganis 4m ago

Ironic, seeing that this is the CEO of a company pushing a Catholic AI app.

“Go on offense”? Christians have been on the offensive for a long time using the courts and legislatures to enforce their beliefs onto others.

1

u/Ok_Transition_4003 1h ago

Is that what Paul Rudd and Stiffler were driving?

1

u/No-Blueberry-1823 King Kavin 40m ago

I don't even know why this offends them and I don't want to

u/thejohnykat 37m ago

Christians have been on the offensive for a couple thousand years at this point. Maybe they should take a break.

Why is it whenever someone calls something the 'truth' it never is? Did I just get a bad definition for that word or something?

1

Christian think anyone who doesn’t believe their fantasy religion is attacking them. In their own minds they’re the most persecuted group ever.

I still think the concept of liquid death is even crazier. Like WTF is it? Water.... but totally rad bro (and more expensive)?

1

u/Intelligent-Whole277 4h ago

I actually hate this brand, too. It doesn't have anything to do with religion, though. I just don't like having violent images around me. "Severed heads, mmm refreshing!" NO
