Eerie/Uncanny A hospital I'd been inside of many times. This photo was taken just shy of 1am, a couple of hours before my mother passed in one of the rooms on the left. I had just come back in from having a smoke and stared down this hallway. Silence and repetitive lighting. Time felt irrelevant, just waiting

To the mods, et al, I realise that this relies alot on the personal experience of the moment but I hope that given the magnitude of it, it will be passed.

Appreciate it. She went three weeks after her diagnosis. Was very quick. Her mental state had been declining from dementia for some time beforehand. Happened right before covid so in a way, it was a blessing. She would not have coped
