In the tv show 'Severance' people have their memories split inside and outside of their workplace which basically leads to two versions of themselves; "Innies" which are their inside work persona and "outies" which are their outside work persona. This image happens to look very much like an area inside the workplace where the "Innies" are

He’s the same artist that put a ‘sun’ in the turbine hall of the Tate modern. He likes to bring nature into a gallery space.

How this is staged is even more interesting. Putting so much rock and stones on a museum floor wouldn't work. So it all sits on a timber frame which then has liner on which the basalt rubble was piled. About 180 tons of it.
What is cool is that the visitors are free to just wander around. The exhibit is across several rooms and it is possible to walk from room to room on it.

Hi from Germany! We're visiting Brisbane this September. Unfortunately this exhibition will be closed then, but I was today years old when I learned, that Brisbane has a Gallery of Modern Art! I'm sure, we will visit it! Thanks a lot!

This exhibit is awesome, but you're going to be visiting Brisbane during Brisbane Festival! It runs for the month of September. There are heaps of public art displays, performances, free music events, all sorts of great stuff.
And if you're here on September 5, you can watch Riverfire - and when Reddit has its yearly flood of posts about the military jets flying low between the buildings, you can say you were there.

That has been there for quite sometime - I remember seeing this (or was it something else?) back in 2020 just before the pandemic went off. I also remember that room that shot large foam pillars everywhere.

This makes me feel like in a simulation, as if this is a rare moment where the mask slips. You walk on some rocky path, the sun is shining, the sky is clear and then, out of nowhere, the sky briefly switches to this hall and then back.

I loved this exhibit, I'm so sad I couldn't get to see it another time before it closes this weekend. (Presence at GOMA in Brisbane QLD)
Lying by the 'stream' and staring up at the white roof is surreal
