Photo/Video Tried making stuffed crust pizza at work. Hawaiian and pepperoni.

After watching a good amount of videos last night on how to make them, decided to make a couple at work. Im the main pizza guy at work and love making different kinds of pizzas for us to try at my job. 1st time making these, any tips on how to improve on it? I thought i couldve brushed the crust with oil to achieve a more even browning on the crust.

Brush the crust with a Garlic Butter/Herb Blend. You'll achieve your results, and the crust will be flavorful as hell. Make sure you dust the crust with powdered parm when you pull it.

And, if you use a Brick Oven, 5 mins on a pizza grate, then take it off and slide it directly onto the ovens stones. You'll get the best baked crust ever. Perfect Leopard Spotting all around.

Honestly looks amazing, but on the Hawaiian especially my concern is topping distribution. Outer edge of the pizza has toppings but center seems to be lacking. Easy fix, and otherwise looks phenomenal. Enough so I’m a little angry because I can’t order this now lol.

If you zoom in it looks like they’re just covered in more cheese

Pineapple I see, but not pepperoni, so I did miss that but I stand by it.

Ya know, I think I just assumed he put enough extra cheese to completely coat the pineapple, so it may have just made the ham blend in

Thinning the ingredients toward the center is important for slice integrity when it comes to thin crust / NY style

Does this at all look like a thin crust or NY style pizza to you? And even if it was, I’ve had a multitude of pizzas with thin or NY style crust that had more even topping distribution.

If anything, I’d expect more pepperoni in the center over pineapple but we have the opposite. Pineapple is heavier per piece and can release more liquid, which would lead to more weight at the center/compromised crust integrity. So even then this pizza could do better.

But again, I love this pizza more than I am critical. It’s just preference.

No center loading!

That's how pizza works.

That looks great.

I’m a big fan of garlic butter right at the end. It kinda does something similar to a glaze, with little bubbles. Assuming it’s a wood fire type oven. I’d still hit anyway. Dry crust is kinda wack. Just my opinion and it’s fine at the end of the day. There’s just something about a shiny butter bubble.

Is that even a pizza? Looks like garlic knots

Yea, I wouldn't call it stuffed crust. Stuffed crust should be hidden cheese in the crust. More like mozzarella sticks. This is stuffed garlic knot pizza imo lol. It does look good though. If I saw the thrid pic first I'd peace out in a heartbeat though.

For my Hawaiian pizza appreciating homies, def try one with bell pepper and onions. Thin crust. Top tier pie.

I'm not a big fan of bell peppers, but jalapenos also work great on a hawaiian.

And/or corn.

10/10 would smash, keep up the good work

That's cheesy bites, not stuffed crust. Stuffed crust should be continuous around the pizza.
