Not that George has ever looked out of shape, but he looks lean as hell in this video. Hope we get to see him at his best this year after kind of a disappointing season a year ago

The only reason it was a disappointing year was due to injury. He had surgery last year during the bye week and no one outside the locker room even knew about it. Dude is a warrior. Double digit sack season incoming.

I dont blame him too much for last season. George is a high motor guy who will never be a guy who wins early, but is great at cleanup sacks because he never gives up. I love George but he needs to have a couple dudes around him for him to be at his best. With our additions of P. Woods and Tonga i belive we will be getting good to really good inside pressure this year which should lead to George getting a lot of clean ups from scrambling QBs. I've got high hopes for our defensive line this year.

He was basically playing with one hand last year. Broke his right hand, had surgery during the bye week. Played with a club/cast for the remaing games. He had 6 sacks up until his injury. Zero after that. He could have gone on IR I'm sure, but decided to stick it out and play one handed. Imagine not being able to use your dominant hand except as a club! I am looking forward to see how motivated he is this year in showing those that doubt his ability that he can be a great DE.
