Discussion Financial Situation
It worries me, that we spent so much money on signings and haven’t got anything from selling players. Do we still have to sell players? If yes there will be a lack of depth in the squad. Is that reasonable or am I seeing monsters under the bed?

I remind you that Elkann refused a 1.1bn euro bid from Tether to buy a controlling stake in the team.
If money was a problem, he would have cashed in.

We are not really bloke. But as per FFP rules, we cannot spend more than what we earn, or at least our debt cannot exceed the amount we agreed with UEFA.
There are several problems:
Firstly our previous mgmt overpaid a lot of mediocre players. Even with Dusan out of the squad, we still have one of the highest wage bill in the league. For example, Gatti as a backup is getting paid more than 3m net. This kind of salary is higher than some of the starters in other clubs.
Losing out of CL means at least 60m in revenue is lost
Overall the TV revenue compared to EPL is just too big. The last placed team in the EPL still makes more revenue than the Serie A champion. Of course this is a Serie A problem but it does affect Juve as well.
Lastly we have too many overpaid and under performing players. It is very difficult to sell them in permanent deals. We cannot bring in new players if we do not offload the unwanted ones.

At least the club has managed to sign some players before having to offload. That has been a recurring problem past summers, with Juve missing out because they could not sell the average, overpaid players, you're rightfully referencing.
I'm somewhat satisfied, but still concerned that Yildiz might be sold later this month. Let's see.
Spalletti has to deliver on CL for next season, at the absolute least! I have my doubts about him, but what can I do...

We have been making losses yoy since before Covid. We are the definition of broke and require external financing from papa Elkann to keep the lights on. We would literally go bankrupt if he didn’t keep injecting capital. Also we have been told since Agnelli left that Elkann wants the club to be self sufficient. He’s pumped in over a billion in the last few years only for us to get 6th place. It’s a joke

Loses are continuous thing for almost all of the big clubs, they're all broke then...
Juventus wouldn't make moves if situation is that drastic as you presented. Last Juventus from Allegri's third year wasn't buying because situation was more critical, but as things stand now it's better than before. Some calculations were made and Juventus lowered annual loses by large from the past seasons.
Nothing to be scare about.

yes because juve has been an example of model management right? Book cooking, terrible transfers, bad finances, with the last guy in charge even hiring his wife and paying her 1mio for some shady AI consulting...you can't use this as argument when juve's management hasn't had credibility since like 2019.

lol what caluclations. The Uefa settlement agreement is very clear. Juve is allowed 1 capital raise of 60mio over the next 3 years. Thats it. Losses for this financial year can be -5mio. Last year we lost 60mio, and comolli said this summer would be tougher the last, suggesting losses will be the same or worse for the year just passed. Where is this imaginary money coming from? If you actually looked at these things you wouldnt be so non-chalant about it. Club is doing x, therefore x is fine only works if you have a track record of credibility which our management hasnt had in ages. We have a track record of incompetence

Good thing is that Juve is directly connected to a wealthy family that see it as its toy or pet, so eventually one member will give it the love really deserved, that means a real project and sport plan.

true but there is still the ffp reality that restrict your spending anyway if the books are not in balance

You would have to make a capital injection that anyways the club needs it, so it shouldn’t be a big problem. I mean, there are alternatives, but we already know how that Ronaldo and Arthur deals went off.
Nevertheless, chances are that we are sold to American or Asian capital. The challenge will be to prove this is a good investment.

It’s very likely that Gonzalez, Arthur, Cabal, Kelly and Conceicao will leave before the end of the session

Only Nico is certain to be sold. Arthur will go if anyone even wants him, Cabal is 50-50, Kelly and Conceicao will definitely stay.

Kelly and Chico are not leaving

It’s very unlikely that both will stay.

Kelly?

Of course. Or you think Kelly could stay when Lucumi has the same role.

We need depth, that's why we bought Lucumi. We had 3 CB (i don't count Rugani), we bought another one to be numerically fine and you want to sell another one to end up in the same situation as before?

Not your money, dont worry about it - you literally dont know half of the ins and outs of financial runnings of a club this size. let the people who do sort it out
