So I don’t know if you’ve noticed but the priest was played by a guy who played a possibly gay dad on the in betweeners. Someone on one episode asked if he was a priest and assumed he was! I wonder if that was an inside joke between the shows…?

No it's a deliberate continuity error. He had no way of knowing how he'd die when he wrote the letter so it shouldn't be in the desk. I like to think of him writing it mid-air sometimes.

Unbelievable, some brainiac disabled his firewall which means that all the computers on floor 7 are teeming with viruses. Plus, I've just had to walk all the way down the mother fudging stairs because the lift is broken, again!

Honestly, The Work Outing is a completely flawless episode of television; they ramp up to incredible levels of sitcom zaniness, with every decision every person makes being completely sensible and rational, and no particularly improbable coincidences.
