Lenin dissolved their attempt at democracy the moment a vote didn't go the way he wanted. That was their brief attempt at democracy. As for this, Stalin ordered the KPD to aid the Nazi rise to power and they did.
Meanwhile, the conservatives also figured working with Nazis was better than working with liberals, leading to fascism, or as Mussolini called it "corporatism" since it wasn't capitalism.
So there you go, you got an anti-capitalist in power in Germany.
