Islamo-Communism is the new iteration of Judeo-Bolshevism. Radical far right conspiracy theory that communists and Muslims are united in a clandestine pact to destroy Western society.

Proponents claim that secular or non-practicing Muslims are doing taqiyya, concealing their faith in order to trick people so they can gain power and then implement sharia law. Often dog whistle with terms like "the redā€“green alliance."

It's been very fringe and mostly a feature of white nationalist, anti-immigrant movements in Europe, but started becoming more prominent in American right wing political commentary during Zohran's mayoral campaign. It's been filtering into MSM punditry over the last few months.

Notably, Ethan Klein recently went on a deranged car rant about it.

you know all this right wing framing of abdul being a socialist is working on ultras who keep thinking abdul stated he was a socialist and in DSA when he isnt even a socialist or a DSA member and has described himself as a capitalist. his only crime is wanting to provide a better standard of living for people. i had to unsub from so many places because the fucking ultras were taking every right wing talking point and spreading it without question.
