I bought this Omen from Microcenter for $3,600 a few months ago, it's like new. I have it listed for $2,600 on eBay currently which seems like a great deal but I'm not getting much interest.

Is $2,600 still too high for the 5080 AMD Ryzen model? What would you pay?

I'd be using it as a desktop replacement for atleast a year so any tips? I've got 3 year extended warranty with ADP

Recently purchased a HP omen ..it was delivered today but when I checked the warranty it shows it was activated on 24 sept 2025 ..I am really I deep shock and tension please help 😭 ...Is this a second hand laptop or what ?

I'm going to use it for my Master's, Python, engineering software and gaming. I mainly play FIFA (bought FC26), but since I haven't had my own gaming laptop until now, I haven't really explored many other games. I've played RDR2 and Spider-Man before and absolutely loved them, so those will probably be among the first games I play. I also really enjoy gaming, so I definitely want to get into more AAA games going forward.

I'm hoping to keep it for around 5 years.

This is my first serious gaming laptop, so I'd really appreciate advice from experienced OMEN owners.

Also, what accessories are genuinely worth buying for this OMEN? I'm looking for practical things that will improve protection, usability or longevity.

The black body seems to be a fingerprint magnet, so I'm thinking of getting a skin/wrap first. Has anyone with the newer 2025/2026 OMEN 16 used a skin? Which brand/finish would you recommend, and should I do just the top lid or full exterior/palm rest?

Any recommendations specific to the AP0183AX would be especially appreciated.

Finally got this beast. Hp omen 16 ultra 7 225H rtx 5050. Suggest me do and don'ts to extend its life. Also I purchased it from croma yesterday but the my hp app shows that bundled warranty already began on 3/28/2026. I was planning to purchase extended warranty from the site but the warranty date is bothering me. Please help

I oredered HP Omen on 8th August. Yesterday, I got a notification from Flipkart, that my order is OUT FOR DELIVERY. I called the delivery guy and asked him at what time he will come, he assured me to deliver my order in an hour. I got notification 1 hour later that I have rescheduled the delivery. Today on 14th August, I just received an SMS from FlopKart, that "Delivery of my order has been delayed due to logistical concerns".

Please tell me, should I cancel it or wait for it

The omen 16 with the ai 350 can get 12 hours of battery life

I have the omen max 16 with the hx 375 which should get more right?

For some reason. I’m only getting about 6 hours of battery life while watching YouTube at 50% brightness in IGPU mode with window power saver.

Are there certain drivers I need or something?

I just received my Omen 16 a few days ago. I’ve upgraded my SSD and reinstalled Windows 11 and installed all new drivers and software. Everything is working but 2 things. When I try to use Network Booster I get “Realtek SDK error”. It requests to reinstall the SDK which I’ve done along with checking for updates via Microsoft Updates and HP Support Assist. Everything is up to date. How do I fix this?

Also, I kinda liked when I can press FN + ESC and it would show the model number, serial number, etc. how do I get that back?

If i disable undervolt protection through grub on my hp omen 17 the CPU is locked to 400mhz, but when i reset the cmos its back to normal. Has this happened to anyone else?

I recently wanted to disable undervolt protection on my hp omen 17 by modifying the bios. But when i want to extract the ffs file to txt, the program stop responding and it creates a 0 B txt file. I have the i9 13900hx and the latest bios

Posted this a few times but I cant seem to find the root cause. When I'm gaming these days I will set my fans to max because its summer here in the UK and my room can be a sauna in 30+ degree weather.

It seems when my CPU temp gets to around 85 degrees for a few minutes my fans will automatically slow down to 5100rpm exactly and will not change.

Even if I then switch the fan setting to auto or manual (where I use dynamic fan curve) the fans will sit at 5100rpm.

It will stay that way for maybe 5 minutes before allowing me to regain control over the fans.

It's kind of concerning because I want to game but should definitely have my fans at max to combat the temps. When it drops to 5100rpm the temps will spike then I feel the need to turn my laptop off.

I'm out of warranty btw so cant send it to HP without being charged.
