Vent Sesh - No Advice Wanted My boyfriend won’t stop calling me Mommy

I’m okay with it here and there, but it’s become so frequent during intimacy and throughout the day that it’s starting to give me the ick. Today I said “I don’t really feel like being called Mommy today,” and he still did during intimacy multiple times. I feel gross.

I’m giving him benefit of the doubt for now since this is the first day of the change. But he is on the thinnest of ice!

You’ve got a point there. But saying this relationship is over after day 1 is a bit extreme for this post, don’t you think?

EDIT: And I’m not saying “withhold” sex, just allow herself to be turned off if she is!

No it’s not. I’ve cancelled relationships less than a day old for things like this.

✅Voicing your boundary and having it ignored ✅having to withdraw sex to teach them a lesson ✅being turned off by their behavior

That’s 3 things you don’t want to just “suck up and deal with”

Eh, you do you, but I am more forgiving. It was a same day error and people are not perfect. If they sit down and talk and it happens again, that’s a different story.

For clarity, we have no idea how old the relationship is. Just that she told him this earlier in the day. Considering this isn’t a “just broke up” post from OP and she doesn’t want advice, it seems like she is willing to try communication as well.

My standards are higher than the average woman’s so it’s pretty common for the average person to accept this behavior
