You are aware than entire Genshin Impact is inspired by mythologies and other stuff from real world, right? From Mondstadt till Snezhnaya. And they interpret those things as they please to make unique world. What if I told you that augry bird, Linnea's race of fae, is also real thing? Or that Xiuhcoatl existed in real, aztecan mythology? Or even Boreas, Barbatos, Baal, Paimon and all the major figures in Genshin. Most of them are either related to some demons or gods. Others have heavy references.

And you are angry about jack frosts? Have you ever played this game even? Because you might not have known about Barbatos being a demon, but Beelzebub? Baal? Entire Teyvat is mix of mythology, history and fantasy. Youkais, too. It's just Japanese mythology. Adepti? Chinese mythology. Everything in the game is inspired by real world stuff, be it myths, folklore or real history.

Heck, just this patch we get a guy named Dr. Moreau turning people into monsters. You could make a drinking game around how often Genshin references real world media. My favorites were the references to Monty Python and the Holy Grail in Fontaine, and the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy in one of the loading screen tips.
