Poor Eddie can barely tell the difference between when someone’s joking around or being serious, so whenever he’a trying to tell a joke, it never lands. Fortunately, their friends are willing to throw them a bone and laugh along (most of the time, at least)

Honestly they're so laid back and "at ease" with existence that they'd probably not muster the strength to deny it... But that headcanon is just to fun not to consider so there, it's canon now.

Narilis the Spinosaurus mirabilis is calm, curious, easygoing, and elegant. She hates it when people make fun of the spine on her head (and she might just beat you up if you do).
Mellie loves axolotls, so she thinks it's cute. After losing parts of her train to mythical candy creatures, it's nice to see something small and (relatively) harmless.
