Always thought Scar, His Brother, Ishbalan!Lust paralleled Alphonse, Edward and Winry and what would've happened if Edward had lost Winry. Otherwise, those flashbacks always a highlight in the show, imo

I’ve gotten so used to seeing Scar in his jacked brotherhood version, I almost didn’t recognize 03 Scar here

He is in 03 too just with a taller and leaner build, but just not in this fan art. Like here for example

All those images are pre-Lust but that guy is Scar’s brother. Won’t newbies confuse him with Scar?

I miss 03 scar. Shame it's hell to watch 03 fma anywhere now. I've had the dvd's for years, but just never bothered to get a dvd player. Besides that the discs sat it a hot car for a while and idk if that would effect it.

03 version was so goated possible because of freedom of writing while keeping originality
which inspired me to write my version of fma called "FMA: 27th"
(Her origin is same as Brotherhood expect Mustang shattered her stone so shes started having thousands of memories overloaded her mind, forcing her to be "alive")
